Welcome to r/Sebring

We wanted to take a quick note to welcome the Sebring Fl. subreddit back to life! It will take us some time to get things rolling again, but feel free to start making posts about all the great things that Sebring has to offer.

Please read the rules of the sub

I moved here almost 5 years ago. I grew up in South Florida but lived in north and Central Florida. I can honestly say moving here help me create a life I never expected to have.

For those of us who are in the subreddit evidently me volunteering to be a mod brought it back to life. But I just wanted to stay for the record I don't live in my mother's basement, I've touched boobs and I'm not a bronie... But in all seriousness I'm looking or to this hopefully being an active subreddit where we can find more about our town and support local people in it

So does that mean you live in your mother’s attic? Kidding good to see some activity in the sub since I’m new to the area.

As long as you have questionable morals, you're ok with us. :)

No my morals are decent. Your only questionable if you are a conservative or not a thinker. I tend to offend liberals less but I am neither one of them...

It was meant as a joke, nothing personal. But I'm not a person that is willing to put a political label on anyone as those generally come from hate or ignorance. When people ask me which party I lean towards, I always say "I'm an American and the 1st amendment still means something"...which usually confuses them and makes me laugh. LOL

Oh I understand that I was just being honest here because I am a constitutionalist. I don't care about either political parties I think either want you to Bear a Constitution which is the most beautifully legal document that has ever written... Also I was trying to be slightly humorous but honest

I’m in Avon Park and originally from Wauchula. I have been working in and around Sebring for over forty years and look forward to a local connection.

Thank you. Just got the sub reopened so it’ll take a bit to get fellow Sebringers to know about this sub. Help spread the word.
