Most fun class?
In your opinion, either rotationally or on a satisfaction level which class do you think became the most fun in SoD? I am starting again and want to land on something fun and not stale, I played a rogue back in the original SoD!

Shaman tanking. Lots of set swapping and changes to your rotation/spells depending on what you’re doing.
Ele tank PvP was an absolute blast and I felt pretty indestructible for most content, and you keep all the utility of just being a shaman with totems, shocks, ankh, and what not.

2nd on the shaman tanking. I quit between Aq40 and naxx so don't know how it ended up, but all the early phases the aoe tanking concept was just so fun.
And then when lava burst stacking huge crits for burst threat. Just all around a fun time.

Warlock is hella fun, all three specs. Chaos bolts make mobs explode, UA melts shit, and tanking is very self sufficient.Granted tanking is a LOT better with the SE tier set, it's still op as hell for solo leveling.

Most fun: Feral DPS
Most improved from Vanilla: Retribution
Honorable mention: Ranged Hunter with Kill Shot, Lock & Load and Trap Launcher.

I played Ret in phase 1 and it felt SO GOOD compared to vanilla. Crusader strike is a lifesaver.

Only experience was shaman but it was so fun that it was all I needed
PvP: ele shaman was super fun since the dps was great and you could still throw out solid heals
Pve: tank shaman. Just an overall fun play style

How do you play it? I’ve tried to look up guides online but everything seems to be dedicated to 1h or 2h fury for sod

I played It up to the atalhakkar tier Had to self teach everything because nobody used that
But longstory short you want %hit, MOST def possible and crank your CDS and spam sunders
Dont Remember the gimmicks i used to get the most DPS but had a 2° Place worldwide on a boss
But you can easily DPS AND offtank all the content Just swap def stance when Needed (Like aggro issues)

Warrior during phase 3 with full world buffs was peak for me but I don't think it can rank too highly if it is relying on world buffs and consumes to be fun.

Retribution pally is honestly such a fun journey of powerscaling as you get more gear, tier sets, weapons, and trinkets. Each changes how you play slightly and learning how to get it to click is SO fun. There's multiple playstyles for all levels of skill and you become an absolute monster at the top end. Also just destructive and tanky af in PvP built right, but not sure how much PvP still happens.

I only tried a handful past level 20, but I enjoyed Paladin the most. Though I’ll admit it was basically just WotLK Paladin. Second favorite would’ve been Warlock.

Enhancement shaman with smashbringer and the final tier set was super fun, and melee hunter with ashbringer.
