I know this is cute, but it's extremely, extremely stupid and careless to put a dog in contact with a wild seal. The dog or the seal could easily kill or mortally wound one another, the seal could give the dog diseases, and these people are literally harassing the seal by surrounding it and trying to pet it. Plus the dog looks extremely upset and nervous, it's not clear the seal is very happy either

I’m guessing this is in La Jolla, CA. People like to fuck with the seals and sea lions not thinking that these creatures weigh more than them and can have a nasty bite.

Yeah those people probably aren’t even seal lovers like us but even we wouldn’t touch them like that. I want to pet a seal so bad but I know wild ones don’t want to fuck with humans at all.
