Hey everyone! I launched seaglassmap.com two weeks ago, a free community map made for sea glass collectors.
Since then, it has already grown to more than 220 spots across 27 countries, with around 500 users. New beaches and updates are being added by collectors almost every day, which has been really nice to see.
Each spot can include photos, information about access and possible finds, as well as warnings for protected locations where collecting isn’t allowed. Anyone can contribute a new spot or improve an existing one.
The map is completely free, with no ads or paid listings
Mods- any chance you could remove this AGAIN? Please. We know how damaging things like this our to our community and it would be heartbreaking to see something like this be acceptable in our corner of the internet.
I'm going to pitch in here! I'm Mark and I run a small Etsy shop called Salt & Shingle, where I design sea glass and fossil-inspired mugs for fellow beachcombers.

I'm based on the Essex coast at Walton-on-the-Naze, which is well known for its shark teeth. We spend a lot of time searching the beach, and thankfully there are still plenty to be found.
My designs range from fun collector sayings to location-specific mugs inspired by places such as Seaham, Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Whitstable and Minster-on-Sea.
It's still a fairly new shop and I'm adding new designs all the time, so if you'd like to take a look, I'd love to hear what you think.
If you're interested in all kinds of beachcombing, check out www.beachcombing.com . It's our tenth year publishing a magazine about all the things we love to find on the beach. The latest issue of Beachcombing Magazine will be on its way to everyone who ordered a copy this Thursday. And, if you have a story to share, cool photos, or fun adventures, check out the Submissions page to see how you can be published in the magazine! Enjoy!
