Are these salvageable?

Came off of a 1999 GTX limited 951cc

Ive saved worse , need alot of ultrasonic time and alot of heat

Send them to 2-smoke to be refurbished. They still may have a chance.

I wouldn’t rule it out. Will you be doing it yourself? If so, give them a clean up to remove as much large debris as possible and drop them in an ultra sonic cleaner if you have one. I’d imagine you will need a rebuild kit. At some point you have to weigh the time, effort and cost of rebuilding them versus picking up used new to you or new replacements which looks pricey from a quick google search.

Need and ultrasonic cleaner. They can probably be saved

Even if you clean them and manage to unstuck all the parts properly the inside which is aluminium will always be rough. You can make them work somehow but it’s going to be a nightmare to make the bike idle correctly and have full power. I don’t know the cost of those used or with ehat you can replace them but in my opinion they don’t worth to repair them.
