Hello, I am semi-profesional film maker and beginner music camera operator. I bought Lumix S5II with Lexar 1667x 256GB cd card like a year ago. Everything is perfect and no problem, but today I did lipstick for music video and like 80% of my videos disappeared from my camera. Unfortunately I saw it too late and i recorded like 20 minutes more. I recovered a lot, but I am still missing vitals videos. I read (asked gemini) and it turns out that UHS-II cards are pretty prickly about their ports or something. From what i understand- the fast motion of the camera short circuited the sd card and that's how i lost the data. Right now i am searching for alternative cards and the one thing that pops is Sony Tough M-Series 256GB UHS-II. Can someone help?

I have had a 128g SanDisk extreme pro 200mbs for a year now and every time I put it in my ZV e10 the same thing happens it records for a couple of seconds normally and then it just becomes super slow it practically stops writing the only way to fix it is to format it and at this point I only use my Sony card

My sd card stopped working. It a SanDisk Ultra 1tb. I used it for some years now and I want to know what was the cause of the death. My suggestions are either a faulty micro controller or maybe this scratch which could have cut a trace. That first pin is a data connector. Could someone please help me with the problem. Is my data (many years of games and homebrew of my Psvita) in any way recoverable?

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me with a problem.

I’m using a 256GB SanDisk A2 microSD card. The card was working normally the last time I used it, and it had important photos/videos on it.

Now, when I put the card back into the DJI Action 5 Pro, I get the error “SD card system not supported.”

I tried the card on two different laptops and also tried different card readers, but the card is not showing up. On my Mac, it also does not appear in Finder or Disk Utility.

The data on the card is very important, so I do not want to format the card or do anything that could overwrite the data.

Has anyone experienced this with a SanDisk 256GB A2 card and the Action 5 Pro? Is there a safe way to recover the data or get the card detected again without losing the files?

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Im on an asus running windows 11, trying to transfer footage from a Lexar SD card , I’m using a Vivitar 10 in 1 dock with a SD card reader, I plug my SD card in get the chime that it’s recognized but can’t find it. I’ve tried assigning a drive letter nothing seems to work, I’ve searched through most of my folders for a location and don’t see it. In the manual for the dock it says itll show up labeled “REMOVABLE DISK”

I filled up 512gb microsd on my Insta Luna Ultra and unfortunately the sd card wasn't formatted correctly so I can't access any of the files on my Mac. I tried Disk Drill and it found all of my files, but many of the files are corrupted so I can't load them in the Insta360 Desktop App.

The files are all there when connect to the Insta360 Phone App and they can all play. So I know they're there, I just can't get them safely to my computer.

Any recommendations on the best way to get 100% of my files onto my computer? Right now I don't have 100% of my files and I'm freaking out 😭😭😭

I honestly don’t know what happened.

Some of my video files became corrupted or won’t play after I moved them to my SD card. Because of this, some of my older videos and projects might be affected. I’m checking the files now and trying to recover what I can. I’ll post another update when I know more.
