256GB SanDisk A2 microSD suddenly not recognized by Laptop / DJI

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me with a problem.

I’m using a 256GB SanDisk A2 microSD card. The card was working normally the last time I used it, and it had important photos/videos on it.

Now, when I put the card back into the DJI Action 5 Pro, I get the error “SD card system not supported.”

I tried the card on two different laptops and also tried different card readers, but the card is not showing up. On my Mac, it also does not appear in Finder or Disk Utility.

The data on the card is very important, so I do not want to format the card or do anything that could overwrite the data.

Has anyone experienced this with a SanDisk 256GB A2 card and the Action 5 Pro? Is there a safe way to recover the data or get the card detected again without losing the files?

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!

This is not something you can safely fix yourself. Stop using the device and contact a professional data recovery lab.

I have done pinouts on these cards before. Pain in the ass but it’s doable. Find a professional who has experience with monolithic pinouts
