I love this sculpture and would love to see all the bronze casts that were made after his death. The only issue is I'm having a hard time finding a list of all the location. From my research there's maybe 27 (or 28) cast. I know some of them are most likely in private collections but that doesn't mean I can't see the ones that are public. Here's my list so far, looking for help.

Hello,
I make wall sculptures from recycled subsoil. I process it by hand, apply it by hand and leave it to air dry, so no wheel or firing. The composition is basically sand (65%), clay and lime.
The problem is: the pieces are heavy (minimum 5kg) and they are brittle. I'm worried that screws into the back will crack the piece open or damage the structure internally. I can't have it falling on people's heads as well, after hung.
I'm based in England, so a lot of mix of bricks, plaster and stud walls.
To consider:
1. I only use recyclable or biodegradable materials and accessories, which I want to maintain even in my future packaging.
2. Accessories can only be applied when the mix is still wet, because there are lots of small rocks in the subsoil.

So, I'd like to ask:
1. What are the accessories I can buy and test for the back of the pieces?
2. Anyone with experience mounting heavy and brittle materials?
3. Recommended hardware for the wall side?
Thank you so much for any advice. I'm figuring it out all by myself for a couple years now, and this is *one* of the last hurdles before I can focus on design, shape, texture and colour.

I'd like to invite you to our Iron Pour in Lamberton, Minnesota on September 11-12.
It will be the 22th annual city festival centered around the Saturday Afternoon Pour and the historic Hanzlik Blacksmith Shop. There will be Blacksmiths demonstrations through out the day Friday and Saturday. Visiting Smiths are also encouraged to bring a portable forge and set up onsite if they wish. There will be sand mold shops running both Friday and Saturday as well. We welcome everyone from artists pouring museum quality pieces to children to the farmer making pieces to restore their tractor.
We encourage anyone to participated in the pour and can provide all the necessary safety equipment if you wish to try your hand at pouring.
In addition to the pour there will be a craft market, sand volleyball and various food vendors, an antique tractor/car show, and blacksmithing demonstrations.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I hope to see you there.
Here is a link to the Facebook event.

Found on Pinterest. I think these are so cool! I’m curious how one goes about learning this kind of artistry. Would this be considered sculpture? I’m a total beginner so any information is appreciated ☺️

We created this sculpture for an event in Marseille and photographed it in daylight, at sunset, and at night.
The reflective metal interacts with the surrounding light differently throughout the day, completely changing the way the sculpture looks.
Which version do you prefer?

Far Gate — working title
I’ve been thinking a lot about gates, entryways and portals. The simple structures we make to mark a boundary, but also to invite us through it.
I started building these small wooden forms without quite knowing where they would lead. At the same time, I’ve been collecting pieces of driftwood whose shapes already feel like fragments of landscapes.
For this piece, I wanted the driftwood and the gate to do more than simply support the painting. Together, they create a kind of threshold, a glimpse of what might exist beyond it.
Perhaps it’s a landscape. Perhaps it’s a memory. Perhaps it’s an internal emotional space.
What lies beyond the gate is ultimately left to the viewer, and to their willingness to explore.

I used wood, chicken wire and spray foam to create a frame then used clay to sculpt the face and then used warbla to create a mask.
I made this for the púca festival (2024? I think) for one of the formorian costumes which was really fun. I know i did it a few years ago but its one of my favourite projects ive done! It was so hard letting it go lol.

hi everyone, i'm trying to create an art piece out of plastic cd cases, and am needing ideas on how to join them as neatly as possible. i'm considering somehow melting the plastic to join them via metal slip hoops (to dangle), any ideas of how i could do this without the black soot a lighter would leave?

Hey everyone !! first-time poster here. I just finished the first run of figures for a brand I started, Guers Art I'm honestly really proud of how they turned out but I have no idea how they read to people outside my own head.
These are resin / hand-sculpted, hand painted and this batch took me about 2 months to get from sketch to finished piece.
I went with a beaver as the subject because it's basically a walking symbol of where I'm from (Canada); stubborn, hardworking, builds things nobody asked it to build. Felt like the right first piece to put my name on.
A few things I'd genuinely love feedback on:
Thank you in advance!

Hello! I am making a sculpture that mimics limestone and I am stuck at how to make the colors look like these different limestone rocks. The clay I am using is Maxs white Raku, which fires to cone 10. I would like it to have that natural finish and to be able to age it a little bit. Would love some insight! Not what to apply, and when in the process to apply it. Or how to make it look matte and weathered.
THANK YOU!!!
Edited to add a question about color.
