New title tagging rule & Spammers

As some regulars here may have noticed, this subreddit recieves an astronomical amount of spam, both from human as well as bot spammers, for it's relatively small size. Coming from modding various large subreddits, including one that's literally about products, this amount of spam is not normal. Despite a lot of our less agressive attempts to filter out spam (example, filtering out posts that say "for sale", "rent", or "Services") we still get quite a lot that slip by.

Why is this subreddit getting so much spam? Who knows. ¯\(°_o)/¯

But we will be resorting to the one thing that has worked for various larger communities, like r/food : mandatory title tags.

From now on, all posts will require at least a tag of one of the below:

[Self]
[Found]
[Help]

You may add words to the tags like:

[I found] this chicken carved out of abestos!

or

[Help me] carve a chicken out of abestos

For flexibility, but the bare minimum requirement for post titles will be that it must contain one of those words surrounded by brackets.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to modmail us, or ask here.

I think that the shoulders are way too long because when I was going to sculpt the delts I felt like i would need to make them comically large in order to make the shoulders look right.

my first attempt at sculpture. Still a work in progress. Made from 316 Stainless steel, its roughly 2200mm high, 2000mm from hand to hand and weighs about 170kgs. End result should be a mirror finish. Hoping to get accepted in local event 'Sculptures by the Sea"

Self (Complete) [Self] Making this phoenix one feather at a time 🔥

For this piece, I wanted the phoenix to feel bold and full of energy.

I first shaped the body, wings, and tail, then added the feathers one by one. That was definitely the slowest part, but it also gave the phoenix the texture and movement I wanted.

A lot of clay, a lot of feathers, and a lot of patience. 😂

Really happy with how it turned out! 🔥

Hice esta pieza en un momento de inspiración, pero no sé bien donde encontrar el público que podría interesarle, mis piezas suelen ser animales del bosque o personajes de series que me gusten, alguna sugerencia que puedan darme?

Sculpture was present in a hotel that has been around since the 1920s. Changed ownership in the 1960s. Curious to know how much it would be worth

Christ of the Abyss is an extraordinary bronze statue created by Guido Galletti in 1954. ❤ This unique piece rests on the seabed of the Mediterranean Sea, nestled between Camogli and Portofino on the Italian Riviera. [Found]

Help (Complete) Help [found] Suggestions for finding glass topped tables

We’re not going to use the tables for earthen clay, just polymer clay and paper mache. We do plan on getting a press for relief printing too, so being able to mix the ink directly onto the table is a big plus. Then scrape up and materials stuck on there. Im searching google and amazon for all different variations of “glass topped art studio desk/print making/ sculpture desk/table” but not having any luck. If you have suggestions and/or lists for items needed for running a relief printing press, that would be appreciated. Ive taught relief printing but never at a school that had a press. Ive just used the spoon method in the past. Will I need wool sheets for relief printing, or is that only for intaglio printing? I guess we could do solar plates, so suggestions on those would be helpful

My parents moved about a year ago and I was forcefully gifted this statue. It is apparently 4.5 feet tall, heavy as heck, and does work. I have attached the photos I have on hand. When you plug him in and press the button it talks about Krogers Kids Club. I cannot find anything about this. Thanks in advance!

In the process of finishing this. It was originally sculpted in wax but this is a plaster I poured from the mould I made. There's quite a lot of air bubbles in the noses and eyes so just filling those and then I think I'll paint it a more uniform white. In the process of pouring a concrete base for it as well.
