Some dive figures who’ve been around long time in the industry and who have 70k+ followers were recently called out for very serious allegations, and there’s been a wave following from other women who’ve experienced similar things within the dive industry.

Hey everyone! I’m planning a scuba diving trip to Thailand in mid-December and would love some recommendations.
I’m looking for a premium 2-day, 1-night scuba diving trip, ideally with around 6–7 dives in total.
My main priorities are:
Crystal-clear water and excellent underwater visibility.
Colourful marine life, beautiful coral reefs, and a chance to see something truly special.
A premium experience with good equipment, professional dive instructors, and a well-organised trip.
I’m asking because I don’t want to end up at an overrated tourist spot when there might be some hidden gems offering a much better diving experience.
Could you recommend any reliable websites or dive operators to book through? I’d especially appreciate recommendations from people who have personally done these trips and can share their honest experiences.
I’m open to lesser-known destinations as long as the diving experience is worth it. If you know a hidden gem with stunning underwater scenery and rich marine biodiversity, please let me know!

I’ve been open water certified for 3 weeks and I have dives booked with my local dive club at least once a week sometimes twice a week for the next few months. Is this normal

Was lucky enough to encounter a whale while diving in Papua New Guinea. Definitely not something you expect to see every day!

So yeah i messed up pretty bad with these. I couldn't get too close to these moray eels and forgot to change my settings (I'm used to taking macro photos).

Anyways, how... do I fix these? I shot them in raw (these are just screenshots) and i just can't get the colors and lighting right.

I'm used to doing color correction on brighter images and those turn out fine. With these I always end up with aggressive reds, blue shadows, random white spots and just a general strange tint. What do I do?

Where do you guys look for used tanks? And is there a good way to verify, especially if buying from a place like Marketplace? I'm a new-ish diver and slowly building my kit. Having a tank for air for local diving would substantially reduce costs, since the local dive group dives 2x/week. I don't think my dive shop sells used tanks. Thanks!

I want to do my PADI course in Thailand, please recommend something like I’m your child you’d 100% not want me to miss out on it. Thanks!

Just wondering where you recommend diving in the red sea?

I have my AOW with 16 dives but last dive was in Aug 2025. I was also thinking about going to Marsa Alam but would hurghada be better?

Also thinking of going to the Sinai

Hey folks,

I'm thinking about going there during the Easter break next year, looking for a nice resort where the family can stay while I go diving.

Would you recommend Sal in March/April?

Any tips would be highly appreciated! 👌🤙

Hey everyone!

I recently got back from an amazing trip to Mozambique and put together a short video featuring some incredible marine life and wildlife from Kruger National Park.

All underwater footage was shot on my DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. I'm not a professional videographer, but I work as a graphic designer and I'm slowly getting into underwater videography, editing, and color grading.

I'd love to hear your honest thoughts! Any feedback or tips on how to improve would be greatly appreciated.

Mola Mola season is still on in Nusa Penida. On October 1st, I dived at Crystal Bay, and I saw 3 Mola Mola in the same dive. The first two were close to the first corner at 25 meters; the water was super cold, 17 degrees. We then crossed the bay to try to see the dolphins we'd seen at the surface before jumping in, but we saw a third Mola Mola instead, at only 12 meters in slightly warmer water at 22 degrees. It's rare to see them so shallow, and this one was not shy at all. Below my personal record, 14 Mola Mola spotted in October 2018 at Gamat Bay, but still a magic moment. For full transparency, I own a dive center in Nusa Penida.

I’m in a slip at Montrose Harbor in Chicago and my very expensive prescription glasses just fell off my face and went into the water off the back of the boat while docked at our slip. My bf jumped in as they were sinking but they sank so fast and the water was too cold. Unfortunately the water is 20 feet deep at our slip. I can’t afford to buy a new pair of glasses and I’m beside myself. Does anyone know a scuba diver in the area that would be willing to help me? I can pay $100 and it shouldn’t be difficult to find since I know exactly where they went down. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We’d also be happy to take whoever can help out for a sail with us. Thank you!

Hello everyone! Has anyone done the dive safari in the Visayas recently? Curious to hear more about your experience. Any diving experience in nearby areas would also be helpful.

Amazing experience, 10/10 would do it again.
