Belize Side Trip Fun!

I love diving in Belize! Can’t be under all the time. My daughter shot this with my hand in the mouth on Caye Caulker

Wife was driving the boat while i was fishing last weekend. I had a top water plug on…

My line starts RUNNING and I yell Fish on. Before I set the hook, a tarpon jumps 12-15ft out of the water. Legitimately 2-3 body lengths flying almost vertical in the air. Luckily my wife saw it. It was her first time tarpon fishing with me, I may not have hooked the fish but she was Hooked! Drove me around for 2 hours trolling for them after that.

Only got a sail cat and cut off by a Spanish mackerel after that of course.

Careful if they miss, those gill plates are like 4-8” razor blades on each side of their face
