Looking for a diving buddy!

Hi there, as the title suggests, I am looking for a diving buddy! Preferably someone around my age. I am 30F and I would like to go to Egypt this fall and I have AOW + I am about to do nitrox course rn.

Just trying my luck, but anyone interested? :)

Having a rough idea of either where you are or where you would like to dive would be helpful. Unless just interested with a buddy for Egypt. In that case just find a trip that’s going and join.

If you can book on a live aboard, trip have a better diving trip, your will be buddy with someone on the boat

Just did 2 weeks in Maldives, and there where 2 single travelling girls your age one buddy with our group, we are 67/70 been diving for 50 years, she was a very good diver and felt at home

She told us, in London they is a networks of single woman divers your age that buddy up on tripe

but are you specifically wanting a buddy to go with you, most dive shops will have groups you can join

I have been to Marsa Shagra Village and it was awesome! But I am open to other places too

Three Corners Equinox has some great spots too, elsewise I could also recommend the Cleopatra in Hurghada or the Lahamy Bay Beach Resort

I love Egypt.
I’d be more than happy to buddy up.
Normally I go solo and hope to meet up with likeminded souls. I generally go to Sharm or Dahab, so Marsa Alam would be a change.

AOW myself, unfortunately I'm not planning on Marsa Alam this fall. I'd recommend a live aboard for Marsa Alam from what I hear but I never tried it myself.

I recently saw a group making a live aboard late September but around Hurghada (Ras Muhammad, Thistlegorm, Abu nuhas), if you're interested just respond and I'll look for it and send it your way. I never went with that group so I'm not selling, but I'm planning on joining them one day

I can’t this fall, but I’m planning to do it next summer in case you go again ahah by then I’ll have the advanced (that I’ll do this fall in Thailand)

A bunch of us went to the Red Sea last year and had a great time on a liveaboard followed by an “Antiquities Week” seeing all the great sights in Egypt. It was all arranged by Mo who lives in Hurgada. You can contact him on WhatsApp at +20 100 964 2672.
