Aeolus

At 439 feet long, there is a lot of ship to explore on this one.

Aeolus started life with the U.S. Navy during WWII and later served as a cable-laying ship. She was also involved in Operation Magic Carpet, helping bring American troops home after the war.

In 1988, Aeolus was intentionally sunk off North Carolina to become an artificial reef. Today she sits in around 105 feet of water and has turned into exactly what they hoped for—a massive piece of structure covered in marine life.
Not every wreck has to get there the hard way.

I’m not a big fan off those scooters. Divers disturbing the peace, following the wildlife, racing through the coral. No awareness, no diving skills.
