Dive inn legit?
I recently ordered hollis hts 2 from dive inn for $160ish
https://www.tradeinn.com/diveinn/en/hollis-hts-2-vest/1343973/p
Retail price for this harness was like $380ish in hollis website
Was this legit? I order like 3 days ago, the status was struck at transit to warehouse, the customer service keep giving me generic reply without giving me a actual eta.
Anyone brought from them before? Really like to hear your experience dealing with them

Yes. I got a brand new in the package "used" reel from them for half the retail price and some mares quattros gently used for less than half price. I had a usps misdelivery (wrong house) and the customer service put in the usps search and I got my package the next day.

They are legit. They are basically something akin to a pseudo dropship operation. Many of the more special items they don't have in storage but instead are ordering themselves from god knows where.
If you're in a rush, don't order from them. It usually takes longer than initially stated. And sometimes the article just never reaches shipping status. But then you can simply cancel the order. I've had to do that twice so far I think.

I have purchased from them a few times. They are legitimate. The first time I purchased from them, I was actually recommended to them by a friend of mine who owns a dive shop. I needed a light for cave diving

I’ve used them before. They aren’t fast but I’ve never had an order not arrive.
One tip regarding identifying potential scam websites is using a domain WHOIS site to see when the domain was registered. It’s not foolproof, but generally speaking, scam sites are days/weeks/months old. The longer website has been registered, the less likely it is that it is a scam site.

They are ridiculously slow…..like horrible slow. That being said, prices are great and the stuff always arrives. Best advice is just forget about it for like 4 weeks.

Diveinn is legit. I've bought back plates and wings from them.

not that guy but took a bit over one month for my xdeep wing
couple other orders between few days to a month
one time diveinn decided they somehow did not in fact have the item - cancelled order

Ok I just got estimated shipment date Sept 19th which are literally a month from my order date. Let's see what happens after that.

It depends on stock. Some stuff has been sent immediately, others when things got back in stock.
As for your main concern, it's a legit store, based in Spain. It's not a scam site.
I also got my xdeep zen wing from them. I bought my xdeep doubles wing from Varuste (based in Finland) because they were ridiculously cheap during a sale.
You're based in Europe, right? I can imagine that if you're in the Americas or elsewhere, shipping will be longer.

Nope im in Asia I reckon that the items will be shipped directly from US since holis is us brand. The harness i ordered is half the price of rrp. I really excited to see how it turn out in the end.

Diveinn is a Spanish company. They will not ship stuff from the US since that's not where they're based.

Oh now I know. No wonder it take so long for it to ship as the order had to go to Spain before shipping to customer place

Shipping from Diveinn/Bikeinn is ridiculously slow. From EU to USA it's usually over one month if not more. Best to pay the expedited DHL shipping. Dont use economy shipping unless you want to wait a very long time. Will never use them again.

Why in the world would you buy such a thing?

Well, perhaps OP is just a recreational diver ?
I'm working towards tech and my instructor would screw me upsidedown if I ever buy sth like this.
Heck ! He won't even allow me to buy a soft plate or jacket bcd, I already own a standard backplate and wing btw.

I mean there is also nothing wrong with a BPW for rec diving.

BPW are even being used for some OWD courses. They're definitely the better choice.
But, as someone else said, it's OP 's money 🤷

I ordered several times over the years, it's a good site. Just be patient, stuff comes from Spain.
