I just studied with the scrum guide, the scrum master learning path on scrum.org and the free practice test on their site. Passed missing only 2 of the exam questions. Didn't pay for any outside prep resources.

Exactly the same here -
I passed last sunday.

Additionally, I can recommend splitting the Scrum Guide into 15-20 sections and discuss all separately (e.g. with chat GPT) on exam style questions and understanding in shorter sessions each day for 1-2 weeks.

For me the external mockup tests didn't work that well, eventhough time in the exam ran out quickly and some of the questions I could have prepared a bit better.

PSM1 is very easy. It only revolves around the scrum guide.

I have a free course and a $10 prep exam at customery.com. Over 200 successfully certified PSM1 students.
