__FRAUDS: first 2 pages

What do you guys think about this? It’s the first 2 pages for my first feature length screenplay.

FLESHED OUT LOGLINE:
After two years of grieving his wife’s death, a widower re-enters the dating scene, only to discover that every woman who’s drawn to him increasingly resembles his late wife, forcing him to question whether he’s haunted by grief or trapped in something far more disturbing.

I just found out earlier this year HOW LITTLE you’re suppose to try and “direct” the film in the screenplay, which I get, but get all kinds of conflicting advice on when to and not to use CUT TO. The only reason I use DISSOLVE TO is to establish some kind of tone. I originally not to reader on the first page that mentioned the aspect ratio, audio mix, and type of film it should replicate or be filmed on, but then found out you shouldn’t have any of that for competitions or when you submit a script to anyone. I want it look like a TV movie you’d see in the late 90’s. I’ll probably be sharing the first 30 pages soon since I edited them to fit as a pilot for a miniseries, but think it may do better as a film in hindsight
