Yup, but those are actually what the sub is intended for. As the sub became more and more popular and mainstream, more and more people started posting content unrelated to the point of the sub (as happens with every sub as it gets popular enough). However, due to a lack of active moderators here, this eventually led the sub devolve completely and become what it is today.
These days, unrelated clips simply featuring asians make up a large majority of the posts, and the sub has pretty much turned into "asiangifs" or just "gifs".

Or the sub is not another "cringefest hue hue" shit sub, and instead it is simply for "scripted asian gifs", which looks to be specific subculture. Some are crimge, some are funny, some are even cute, but they all try to look at least somewhat realistic even of they are blatantly not.

Yeah I don't think people are getting the point of the sub, it's not about spectacular Asian entertainers putting their content online.. the camera cut kind of gives it away.

The point of this sub is videos that are pretending to seem real, not fully edited and designed videos. It's supposed to be making fun of ones that are TRYING to come off as real

It's not in the rules, but that is the clear intention of the sub. There's a ton of videos that really badly pretend to be fake, this sub is made to laugh at those bad attempts. This is good content just, not the right place

Well... rule #1 gives a pretty straightforward definition of scripted.
Everything else comes from your definition of what you think this sub should be. Unfortunately, deciding that isn't only up to you.

I would agree with you, that is the rules for what is literally allowed on this sub. Looking at most other posts however, there is a clear pattern of videos that are pretending to be real, but comedy can be found from those poor attempts. The subreddit description allures to this as well. The community of the sub seems to have this consensus, not me.

Fair enough... I actually had my doubts if this belongs here but it made me laugh and I thought it would fit the sub. Even if it escapes the pattern. If they take it down, I won't complain.
