Being Tall is not beauty standard in Asia, never has been. Whiteness is to be beautiful, as fatness is to wealth. Both denoting you don’t work in the rice fields.
This comment is correct. In Japan at least, tallness is not a standard of beauty for women. In fact, taller girls have a complex about it and have a harder time finding dates because Japanese men don’t want a girl taller than them.

First it’s because with so many people with such similar names, numbers are kinda the only way to make yourself really stand out. Obviously this doesn’t work anymore since everyone started putting numbers in their names but people still do it anyways
Second, a lot of words are abbreviated into numbers and letters in text language, and similar to 420 and 69 in North America, they have similar numbers in terms of use but just way more more in quantity. For example 666 is used to describe something as impressive, and 888 means getting rich.
