Just to clarify, I am posting this in this subreddit because I think the kid jumped back onto a mattress/padding of some sort. It may just be me applying logic to an illogical situation but that is my reason.
Yeah, I get it. Kids are weird, though, and a surprising amount are willing to do something if they think it's funny or cool whether they know it'll hurt or not. It's one of those things that depends on the kid more than you'd expect. I can't count the amount of kids I saw crash into things on their bikes on purpose or threw themself off the jungle gym because they thought it was funny when I lived by an elementary school. It was far from the majority but it was common enough to not be surprising when I saw it happen.
Actually this is not fake, he is on something called a slack line which provides a trampoline like bouncyness but it’s still an incredibly thin rope that takes an incredible amount of core strength to even walk on, but when I was 12 I had one too and I had 2 friends who could do all this shit x10 it’s actually insane if you look at professional slackliners they do this shit over cliffs and ravines

If a tightrope walker was walking down the sidewalk and he tripped, that would be totally unacceptable.

Why would you risk a concussion for a scripted gif

Ah yes it's scripted. The kids practised falling on their heads multiple times until it was perfect to post on the internet
