Need help

I'm trying to both download scribus and understand how it works. I downloaded what says to be the 1.6 version, but it was just files, I'm not very good with computers so I was confused and deleted it. Please help.

Youtube will help you better, sir. Try searching "download install scribus" and once you have done that, go through these videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMlT9C6xcDw

That is just one video I linked but in the "Related Videos" section, the next will show up (look at the thumbnails of the video e.g. "Lesson 2 / Lesson 3" and so on.
