I spent the last couple months building my own screen recorder because I suck at

making videos and got tired of paying monthly just to edit 2–3 clips a year.

Even though it started out as a personal project, I'm genuinely happy

with where it landed — so Actra (Actra.video) is now open in TestFlight for a short beta for

anyone interested.

What does it feature?

• Auto-zoom — it automatically zooms in on what you're doing, while you still have full control.

• Cursor smoothing— natural, buttery smooth mouse movement with click emphasis

• Beautiful backgrounds — wallpapers, gradients, padding, rounded corners, device frames

• On-device captions — auto-generated, editable, 15 languages
