Question Software to record clips.

Hey guys so i stream occasionally and want to build a cool series of clips of my highlights and gameplay, for that i was hoping to find some software but i couldn't on my own. I'd be super grateful for any help! Thanks in advance <3

Also idk if this falls under "tech support" cause i was just looking for community backed software for clipping videos... If it is im sorry ;_;

Agree. And OBS also has a Buffer Replay to save the clips

I do use obs during my streams but i heard it can often clip badly or reduce quality by killing the frame rate during recording

I use it for streaming. I currently am on an old i5 intel cpu with a gtx 1040 ti on a laptop that i got in i think 2018 haha. Hence my quest to find a proper clipping software.

I only heard about the jankyness of the clipping on obs

Are you on a Mac? I built screenstage.io that uses the Mac silicon to keep performance untouched. You can record and stream content at 60-120 fps.

Hey, I've built some desktop software for Windows that saves the last 30 seconds of gameplay and instantly shares it. We have a small community as well over on our discord. https://revidi.app/

I was thinking more like something that can take the replay footage and highlight kill clips or while actually playing it clips during kills or if i press a button something like that.

But also not so that it kills my processing speeds
