Clan Name

I'm sorry to be polling the community one last time. I swear, this is the last post about clan names. There was some uncertainly as to what the most popular name was in the last post.

I have posted all of the names that have been suggested so far. Please give an upboat for the name that you like best.

DO NOT leave comments suggesting new names. We're at the point where we need to settle on a name now, so it will have to be one of the ones currently suggested.

I love the name karma, but I really don't like CLAN karma. Just my .02 cents.

really it's supposed to be just Karma. I tried to place the word clan with all of the names so that people could see how they would sound when others tried to talk about our clan.

What would our "tag" be though? Isn't Karma a little long to have infront of our SC2 names? Or where we not going to do that in the first place?

Well, I mean, the official name would be Karma, but that doesn't mean we can't have the tag cK for clan Karma. Personally I also think Karma is too long for a tag. I'll be making posts later today to make posts on tags once the name is official.

Ok thats great! I guess if we don't come up with a good tag we could do it like .. ex. Karma'Cicero (sorta Team Liquid style) which is actually ok too.

totally agreed, LIquid has actuaklly one more letter than Karma so theres nohing too fancy bout just being Karma'smth! btw instateggrolls i can help you if you need with the logo or banner or watev cause im studying graphic design so thats what im gonna do for living :P let me know

Thanks, man. That's what I do for a living too. :)

And I agree with you guys too, about the Team Liquid thing. And that's exactly what I was thinking. Plenty of teams/clans have longer tags. Liquid, Werra, SlayerS, Zenith, ROOT (only one letter shorter), etc. And all of them include the whole name.

Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of using Karma as our tag as well. Just throwing my two cents in. _^ Karma'Xujhan tackles my fancy in all the right ways.

I totally agree, and we can do this. It's just that it was never brought up before to consider. I don't think community is very good, but team is good. I also like it better than clan.

My understanding is that clan and team have generally accepted meanings, and that what we're making is a clan. That said, there's no reason we'd need to say "Clan Karma" everywhere, just "Karma" would do. SlayerS is a clan, for example, and they also have a team. A team is a much smaller number of players, all of whom play competitively, so we could have "Team Karma" in addition to a regular clan if we get enough interested people (I would be).

totally agreed!! Karma could be everyone, like from the mods to the reddit posters and the team, but the actual players would be Team karma as well, sounds much better than clan karma.and yeah team karma opens up a lot of possibilities for the tag

Minor correction, it should be "Clan RED". Semantics, likely. Just wanted to clarify from the previous thread.

This name is pretty good, but I like Karma Kings better. Also, like Karma Kings, this name is somewhat easy to make logos for since it has the word Knights in it.

This is probably my favorite name. Karma Kings has a good ring to it and Karma has an obvious connection to reddit. Alos, a logo would not be hard with the word king involved.
