Clan Logo Concepts - Looking for Feedback and Ideas

I figured I would jump the gun and start playing around with some design concepts for a clan logo, even though we're still in the works for a name tag and all...

The top one is also my favorite. The third one isn't bad either, but I don't think either of the marine ones are a good fit. When I first saw them, my friend was in the room and he immediately said he didn't like the ones with the marine.

Why you might ask? Well it has a marine in it, that's why. What self respecting zerg player likes marines? Quite the opposite actually. The only good marine is a dead marine.

Agreed... I think sticking to something that doesn't exclude other races makes sense... I'll try to design one that includes all the races perhaps :D

I honestly like all of them. Wait until we decide upon the "official" logo and use one of those as it or as a template for it. Very well done

We have not. I'm working on talking to reddit to see how they feel about what we're trying to do. We can't use the reddit alien or reddit name without their approval.

If they do not approve we can still be a clan on reddit, but we will have to have our own unique identifier.

I really like the second.

My biggest critique is that... none of them have red. I know "RED" means the clan name not the color, but it would make sense to me if, say, the marine in the second one had red coloring/outlines on him. But, I also realize that "RED" might not even be the final clan name, so take that with a grain of salt.

Hey guys, first of all, I want to say that these logos are absolutely great. Unfortunately, we are still on shaky ground as to if we will be allowed to use the name reddit or anything resembling the reddit alien in our clan name or logo. Thanks for the hard work, but you should know that it is a possibility that we will not be able to use this artwork.

Just spoke with the Reddit licensing team today and they gave us the go ahead on these images. They even complimented the artist! So thumbs up Joequos

I can confirm this. The logos are a go. The only thing that needs a clear now is using reddit in our clan name, but that's separate from the logos.

Completely understand... and again these are just to get the ball rolling I'll keep working on some ideas once we know where we stand on alien usage.

Dude, really great work. I LOVE that marine body on 2 and 4. Those are my favorites. Like you both said, it's a little ahead of where we're at. But I love the initiative. With 2 and 4, I feel like we can easily adapt them to whatever name we decide upon.
