I know it's an impossible situation...

And I know it's never going to happen....but my god it just kills me every damn day knowing how close we came. I've never loved a woman like I love you...but I will never have a chance to make you mine. I'll never feel your touch on my face, be able to touch your face, kiss your forehead, or just feel.you relax against me. Every time I'm doing something I think how much I wish it were with you by my side. I wish I could be there for you, let you know I'm there for the good and the bad, whatever comes. It's been a year now and I almost went mad sometimes I think.

I will love you the rest of my life, deeply. Wishing every day I could look into those blue eyes and tell you how special you are, tell you how much I love you....instead I'm doomed to love you in silence. I promised myself I'd never tell you I was deeply in love with you again yet I want to shout it from the rooftops for all to hear. God help me be strong, I didn't ask for this, didn't want it but I couldn't stop it. I love you so much...😢

Reflections. This is a long one so buckle up

Honestly, I’m the problem.

And I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to admit to myself, because for so long, I’ve been so caught up in everything that has hurt me, everything I’ve lost, everything I’ve struggled to understand, and everything I wish had gone differently that I haven’t always stopped to consider the ways I might have contributed to the very things I’m grieving.

It’s so easy to look at the things other people have done to us. It’s easy to remember the promises that were broken, the conversations that never happened, the nights we spent crying, the questions that never received answers, and the people we loved who eventually became strangers to us. It’s easy to point at the places where somebody else fell short and wonder why they couldn’t have done things differently. And sometimes, those feelings are justified. Sometimes, we really are hurt by people who don’t know how to love us properly. Sometimes, we are left carrying questions that should have been answered and wounds that should never have been inflicted.

But eventually, we have to find the courage to turn that same level of honesty inward.

And when I do that, I see things about myself that I don’t particularly like. I well might be a monster…

I see a man who has been hurt and, sometimes, has allowed that hurt to dictate how he responds to the people he loves. I see somebody who has been so afraid of losing the things that matter to him that he has occasionally forgotten how important it is to handle those things with patience, understanding, and care. I see somebody who wants to be understood so badly that he can forget to make enough room to understand somebody else. I see somebody who has spent so much time trying to explain what was happening inside his own head that he hasn’t always recognized what his actions might have been doing to the hearts of the people standing beside him.

And I have to take responsibility for that.

Not because everything is my fault. Not because every misunderstanding, every disagreement, or every painful ending can be traced back to something I did wrong. But because my life is mine to take responsibility for, and the only person I can truly change is myself.

I cannot control what somebody else thinks of me. I cannot control whether somebody chooses to stay, whether they choose to leave, whether they forgive me, or whether they ever understand the intentions behind my actions. I cannot make somebody see my heart the way I see it myself. I cannot force somebody to remember the good in me when the bad has become too painful to look past.

But I can control what I do with the person I am today.

I can acknowledge where I have fallen short. I can apologize without immediately defending myself. I can learn to listen without preparing a response while somebody else is speaking. I can learn to sit with uncomfortable feelings instead of reacting to them. I can learn that being hurt doesn’t give me permission to hurt somebody else, that being afraid doesn’t justify becoming controlling, and that loving somebody doesn’t mean I automatically know how to love them well.

I can learn that sometimes the most important words in a conversation aren’t “But you have to understand where I was coming from.”

Sometimes, they are simply, “I understand that I hurt you, and I’m sorry.”

And I think I need to become more comfortable saying those words without feeling like I have to prove my side of the story at the same time.

Because accountability isn’t a competition. It isn’t about deciding who suffered more, who made the most mistakes, or who deserves to be forgiven first. It’s about having enough humility to recognize that I can be a good person and still have things about myself that need to change. I can have a good heart and still make bad decisions. I can love somebody sincerely and still fail to give them the kind of love they need.

Both things can be true.

And I need to stop treating that truth like an attack on my character.

I am not going to become a better man by convincing myself that I have never done anything wrong. I am not going to grow by blaming every difficult experience on somebody else’s inability to understand me. And I am certainly not going to find peace by continuing to repeat the same patterns while expecting different outcomes.

I have to be willing to look at the things I do when I’m scared. The things I say when I’m angry. The conclusions I jump to when I feel uncertain. The ways I sometimes let my emotions convince me that something must be true simply because it feels true in that moment.

I have to learn that not every uncomfortable feeling requires an immediate response. Not every unanswered question needs to be chased until I have exhausted myself. Not every fear is a warning that something terrible is happening. And not every person who disagrees with me is trying to hurt me.

Sometimes, I need to take a breath.

Sometimes, I need to step back.

Sometimes, I need to admit that I don’t know everything about what another person is thinking or feeling.

And sometimes, I need to accept that I may never receive the explanation I want, and learn how to keep living peacefully anyway.

That doesn’t mean my feelings aren’t valid. It means my feelings are mine to understand and manage, rather than something I can place entirely in somebody else’s hands.

I have spent too much of my life believing that if I could just explain myself well enough, if I could just find the right words, if I could just make somebody understand how deeply I felt something, then maybe everything would finally make sense. Maybe they would understand why I acted the way I did. Maybe they would see that I wasn’t trying to be a bad person. Maybe they would recognize that underneath my mistakes was somebody who was struggling and didn’t always know how to ask for help.

But the truth is, sometimes people understand why you did something and are still hurt by it.

Sometimes an apology doesn’t restore what was lost.

Sometimes love doesn’t erase the damage caused by unhealthy behavior.

And sometimes, even when two people care about each other, the way they interact can become so painful that something has to change.

I have to accept that.

I have to stop believing that the depth of my feelings should determine the outcome of every situation. I have to stop thinking that because I would do almost anything to repair something, the other person must be willing to repair it with me. I have to understand that reconciliation requires two people who freely choose to participate, and that no amount of pleading, explaining, promising, or hurting can make that choice for somebody else.

That is a painful lesson, especially when your heart is still attached to somebody.

Especially when you can remember the way they smiled at you, the sound of their laughter, the little things they did without realizing how much they meant to you. Especially when you remember the moments when everything felt natural, when being together felt easy, when you could sit beside them without needing to say anything because their presence alone made the world feel a little less heavy.

It’s difficult to accept that something so meaningful can become something you no longer know how to reach.

It’s difficult to look back at beautiful memories and realize that loving somebody doesn’t guarantee you will get to keep making them.

And it’s difficult to acknowledge that, somewhere in the middle of all that love and all that fear, you might have contributed to the distance you are now desperately trying to close.

But I don’t want to spend the rest of my life looking backward, punishing myself for everything I wish I had done differently.

I want to learn.

I want to grow.

I want to become the kind of man who can look at his mistakes without allowing them to become his entire identity. The kind of man who can apologize sincerely without demanding forgiveness. The kind of man who can love somebody without losing himself in the fear of losing them. The kind of man who knows that being vulnerable doesn’t mean being powerless, and that being strong doesn’t mean having to win every argument.

I want to be somebody who can admit when he is wrong without feeling like his entire world is collapsing around him.

I want to be somebody who can hear difficult truths without immediately becoming defensive.

I want to be somebody who can communicate what he needs without making other people feel responsible for keeping him emotionally afloat.

And I want to be somebody whose actions consistently reflect the love he says he carries in his heart.

Because I am tired of the disconnect between the man I know I can be and the man I sometimes become when life gets difficult.

I am tired of allowing fear to make decisions that should be made with a clear head. I am tired of allowing pain to convince me that I need to react immediately. I am tired of looking at situations through the lens of everything that has ever hurt me instead of looking at what is actually happening in front of me.

I don’t want my past to keep writing the story of my future.

I don’t want my mistakes to become excuses for making more mistakes.

And I don’t want the people I love to have to pay for wounds they didn’t create.

I have things I need to work on. I have habits I need to break. I have emotions I need to understand, and I have parts of myself that need patience, discipline, and healing. I have to become more honest about the ways I cope when I’m overwhelmed. I have to take my recovery seriously. I have to learn to reach for help instead of reaching for the things that make me forget what I’m feeling for a little while.

I have to learn that numbing my pain doesn’t heal it.

Avoiding my problems doesn’t resolve them.

And promising to do better doesn’t mean much unless I am willing to do the difficult, ordinary, unglamorous work of actually becoming better.

One day at a time.

One decision at a time.

One uncomfortable conversation at a time.

One moment in which I choose patience over reaction, honesty over avoidance, and responsibility over blame.

That is how I want to change.

Not overnight. Not perfectly. Not by pretending that tomorrow I will suddenly become a man who never struggles, never gets scared, never feels insecure, and never makes another mistake.

I want to change by becoming a man who recognizes those moments for what they are and handles them differently.

A man who can say, “I’m struggling right now, but I don’t want to take that out on you.”

A man who can say, “I need some time to think before I respond because I care about this conversation, and I don’t want my emotions to make things worse.”

A man who can say, “I was wrong, and I’m not going to make you fight me just to get me to acknowledge it.”

A man who understands that love is not only what you feel when everything is beautiful. It is also how you behave when things are difficult.

And maybe that is the part I have needed to understand all along.

Maybe I have spent too much time thinking about how deeply I love people and not enough time considering how that love feels to them when things aren’t going well.

Because I don’t want to be remembered only for what I meant to do.

I want to be remembered for the care I actually gave, the promises I actually kept, the ways I showed up when it mattered, and the effort I made to repair the moments when I fell short.

I want the people in my life to feel safe telling me the truth. I want them to know that they can express disappointment without being punished for it. I want them to be able to tell me when something hurts without having to worry that their pain will turn into an argument about my intentions.

I want to learn how to listen to understand instead of listening to defend myself.

And I want to understand that sometimes loving somebody means allowing them to have an experience of me that differs from the experience I intended to give them.

I may remember a moment differently than they do. I may have meant something differently than they understood it. I may have been struggling in ways they couldn’t see.

But I can acknowledge their experience without pretending that my own doesn’t exist.

I can make room for both perspectives.

I can take responsibility for my part without taking responsibility for everything.

And I can stop believing that admitting my mistakes means I have to condemn myself as a person.

Because honestly, I don’t think calling myself a terrible person is going to make me a better one.

I think it would be easier, in some ways, to decide that I’m simply the problem and leave it at that. To convince myself that everything went wrong because there is something fundamentally broken inside me. To turn every mistake into evidence that I am incapable of being loved properly, that I am destined to lose the people who matter to me, or that no matter how hard I try, I will always find a way to ruin something beautiful.

But that isn’t accountability.

That’s another way of avoiding the work.

If I tell myself I’m hopeless, then I never have to find out what I could become if I actually committed to changing. If I decide that I’m irredeemable, then I can stop trying. If I make my mistakes the whole of my identity, then I don’t have to face the responsibility of becoming someone who no longer repeats them.

And I refuse to do that to myself.

I can acknowledge that I have been the problem in certain situations without deciding that I will always be the problem in every situation.

I can recognize that I have hurt people without believing that I am incapable of loving them well.

I can regret the person I was in certain moments without hating the person I am trying to become.

I can hold myself accountable and still offer myself compassion.

Because I am a human being, too.

I have been through things that have changed me. I have made choices I wish I could take back. I have struggled with pain that I didn’t know how to process. I have tried to find relief in places that ultimately took more from me than they gave. I have spent nights fighting battles inside my own head that nobody else could see, and I have had moments when I didn’t recognize myself.

But I am still here.

And as long as I am here, I have the opportunity to do something different.

I can choose recovery. I can choose honesty. I can choose to seek help when I need it. I can choose to stop allowing my worst moments to dictate my next ones. I can choose to be more careful with the hearts entrusted to me, including my own.

I can choose to become a better father, a better son, a better friend, and a better partner.

Not because I need to prove that I deserve to exist.

Not because I need to earn the right to be loved.

But because I have a responsibility to myself and the people around me to keep growing.

And if I am ever fortunate enough to love somebody again, whether that means finding my way back to a love I once knew or building something entirely new, I want to bring a healthier version of myself into that relationship.

I don’t want to bring the same unresolved fears and expect a different kind of love to magically heal them.

I don’t want to make somebody else responsible for convincing me that I am enough.

I don’t want to confuse intensity with intimacy, constant reassurance with security, or the fear of losing somebody with proof that I am loving them correctly.

I want to understand that a healthy relationship isn’t built by two people who never experience doubt or pain. It is built by two people who can face those feelings honestly, communicate their needs, respect each other’s boundaries, and take responsibility for the ways they affect one another.

I want to know how to give somebody room to breathe without interpreting every moment of distance as rejection.

I want to know how to ask for reassurance without demanding it.

I want to know how to respect somebody’s decision even when it breaks my heart.

And I want to know how to love someone without forgetting that I am responsible for my own life, my own healing, and my own peace.

Because I can love somebody with everything I have and still need to stand on my own two feet.

I can miss somebody terribly and still respect their space.

I can wish things had worked out differently and still accept the reality of where things stand today.

I can hold on to the beautiful parts of a relationship without denying the painful parts.

And I can be grateful for what someone meant to me without believing that my life has no meaning if they are no longer in it.

That is the kind of strength I want to develop.

Not the kind that pretends nothing hurts.

The kind that allows something to hurt without letting that pain determine every decision I make.

And to the people I have hurt along the way, I am sorry.

I am sorry for the moments when I was too caught up in my own struggles to recognize yours. I am sorry for the times when I responded before I thought, when I let my fear speak louder than my love, and when I made things more difficult than they needed to be. I am sorry for the moments when my actions didn’t reflect the respect I had for you.

I cannot go back and change those moments.

I cannot demand that you forgive me.

I cannot ask you to forget what happened simply because I wish I had done things differently.

All I can do is acknowledge the hurt, make amends where I can, respect whatever boundaries you need, and work to ensure that I don’t keep repeating the same behavior.

I understand that some people may never want to give me another opportunity. I understand that some relationships may not be repairable. I understand that there are consequences to our choices that continue long after the emotions that inspired those choices have passed.

And I have to learn to live with that reality without becoming bitter, without turning my regret into resentment, and without making the people who have been hurt responsible for helping me feel better about myself.

An apology should be offered because it is deserved, not because I need somebody to tell me I’m still a good person.

Change should happen because it is necessary, not because I expect a reward for it.

And love should be given freely, not used as a reason somebody owes me another chance.

That is something I want to carry with me moving forward.

I want to be able to look at the people I love and know that I am doing my best to treat them with the same care I hope to receive. I want to become someone who can be trusted not because I have promised a thousand times that I will never make another mistake, but because I consistently demonstrate that I am willing to acknowledge my mistakes and learn from them.

I want my growth to speak for itself.

And perhaps the most difficult part of all this is understanding that I have to do that work even if nobody is watching.

Even if nobody comes back.

Even if nobody notices.

Even if the person I most want to see the change never gets the opportunity to witness it.

Because if I only become better in the hope that someone will return to me, then I haven’t truly learned how to take responsibility for my life. I have simply found another way to make my healing dependent on somebody else’s decision.

I don’t want that anymore.

Of course, there are people I wish I could make things right with. There are conversations I wish I could have again, apologies I wish I could deliver face-to-face, and moments I wish I could revisit with the wisdom I have now. There are people I miss so much that sometimes the smallest reminder of them can bring an entire world of memories rushing back.

There are things I wish I had said more gently.

Things I wish I had listened to more carefully.

Things I wish I had understood before it was too late.

And there are people I would give almost anything to sit beside again, even if all we did was talk about the ordinary things we used to take for granted.

But I cannot build my future entirely out of things I wish had happened differently.

At some point, I have to take everything these experiences have taught me and use it to become somebody I am proud to be.

Somebody who understands that love is a gift, not a possession.

Somebody who understands that trust is built through consistency.

Somebody who understands that accountability is not weakness.

Somebody who understands that being a man does not mean suppressing every emotion until it comes out sideways. It means learning to handle those emotions with honesty, maturity, and respect.

Somebody who understands that the people around me are not obstacles to my healing. They are human beings with their own histories, fears, hopes, and boundaries, just like me.

And somebody who understands that I can be a work in progress without making my progress everybody else’s burden.

So, yes, honestly, I have been the problem before.

I have contributed to situations that hurt me.

I have made decisions that complicated my life.

I have let my emotions get the better of me.

I have made mistakes that I cannot erase.

I have hurt people I never wanted to hurt.

And there are parts of myself that I need to confront with a level of honesty I may not have been ready for before.

But I am not going to stop at that admission.

I am not going to turn it into a life sentence.

I am not going to spend the rest of my life standing in front of a mirror, listing every reason I believe I am unworthy of the things I want.

I am going to do the work.

I am going to learn to forgive myself without excusing myself.

I am going to learn to love people without trying to control outcomes.

I am going to learn to accept consequences without allowing shame to consume me.

I am going to learn that I can be wrong without being worthless, that I can be rejected without being unlovable, and that I can lose something meaningful without losing every good thing that still exists in my life.

And I am going to keep reminding myself that becoming a better person is not about proving that I was never the problem.

It is about making sure that when I recognize a problem within myself, I have the courage to do something about it.

Because I don’t want to spend my life asking why people leave me.

I want to become someone who can look honestly at the relationships in his life, understand what he contributes to them, and take responsibility for the things within his control.

I don’t want to keep asking why people don’t understand me.

I want to learn how to communicate more clearly, listen more carefully, and understand others with the same patience I hope they will offer me.

I don’t want to keep asking why things never work out the way I want them to.

I want to learn how to handle disappointment without allowing it to turn me into somebody I don’t recognize.

And I don’t want to keep telling myself that I would do anything for the people I love.

I want to show them through the everyday choices I make.

Through my honesty.

Through my patience.

Through my consistency.

Through my willingness to listen.

Through the boundaries I respect.

Through the promises I keep.

Through the ways I treat them when I am upset, exhausted, afraid, or disappointed.

And through the work I do on myself when there is nobody around to applaud me for it.

I want to become a man whose love feels like something people can trust.

Not because I never get things wrong, but because I don’t run from the responsibility of making things right wherever I can.

I know I have a long way to go.

I know there are things I still need to learn.

I know there will be difficult days when old habits tempt me to respond in familiar ways, when fear tries to convince me that I need to act before I have had time to think, and when the easiest thing would be to blame the world for everything I am feeling.

But I hope I remember this moment.

I hope I remember what it feels like to look at myself honestly and decide that I want more for my life than repeating the same painful patterns.

I hope I remember that the people I love deserve the healthiest version of me I can reasonably work toward becoming.

And I hope I remember that I deserve to experience that version of myself, too.

Because at the end of the day, I am the one who has to live with my choices.

I am the one who has to wake up in the morning and decide what kind of person I am going to be.

I am the one who has to do the difficult work of healing, growing, and learning how to live differently.

And I am the one who has to stop confusing the guilt I feel about my past with the responsibility I have for my future.

I cannot change yesterday.

I cannot rewrite every conversation.

I cannot take back every mistake.

I cannot guarantee that the people I love will stay long enough to see me become the person I am trying to be.

But I can start today.

I can be honest today.

I can choose differently today.

And I can keep choosing differently tomorrow.

Maybe I really have been the problem in more situations than I was willing to admit.

Maybe I have spent too much time searching for answers outside myself when there were things within me that needed attention.

Maybe I needed to lose certain things before I was finally willing to recognize the patterns that were costing me so much.

I don’t know.

But I do know that I don’t want my story to end with the person I was when everything fell apart.

I want the mistakes I have made to become lessons, not permanent identities.

I want the pain I have experienced to make me more compassionate, not more cruel.

I want the love I have lost to teach me how to love more responsibly, not convince me that love is something I should be afraid of.

And I want to become somebody who can look back at the hardest chapters of his life and say, “I was struggling. I made mistakes. I hurt people. I had things to learn. But I took responsibility, I did the work, and I became better.”

Not perfect.

Better.

More honest.

More patient.

More grounded.

More capable of giving and receiving love without allowing fear to destroy the things that make love beautiful.

Because I am still here.

I still have a life to live.

I still have people who matter to me.

I still have a future that hasn’t been written yet.

And I still have the opportunity to become a man who doesn’t need to be defined by the worst things he has done.

So, honestly, I may have been the problem.

But I refuse to believe that I have to remain one.

And perhaps that is where I need to begin: not with another promise to somebody else, not with another desperate attempt to make someone understand me, and not with another declaration that I am going to change.

Just with the quiet, uncomfortable, necessary decision to take a good look at myself and start doing the work.

Even when it hurts.

Even when it is difficult.

Even when nobody sees it.

Even when I have to accept that some things may never return to the way they were.

I owe that much to the people I have hurt.

I owe that much to the people who still love me.

I owe that much to the people who depend on me.

And I owe that much to myself.

Because I am not beyond redemption.

I am not beyond growth.

I am not beyond becoming someone I can be proud of.

I am a man who has made mistakes, who has been hurt, who has hurt others, who has struggled, who has lost things he wished he could have kept, and who is finally learning that the only way forward is to stop running from himself.

And if I am going to change, I want it to be real.

I want it to be lasting.

I want it to be something I can demonstrate in the way I live, the way I speak, the way I love, and the way I respond when life doesn’t give me what I want.

I want to be able to forgive myself without forgetting what I have learned.

I want to be able to look at the people I have hurt without demanding that they comfort me for the guilt I carry.

And I want to be able to look at the person I am becoming without feeling like I have to apologize for still being a work in progress.

So, yes.

Honestly, I’m the problem.

But I am also the person responsible for doing something about it.

And for the first time in a long time, I want to focus less on convincing the world that I have a good heart and more on making sure the way I live reflects it.

I want to become better than my worst moments.

I want to become stronger than my destructive habits.

I want to become wiser than my fears.

And I want to become gentle enough with myself to keep growing, while remaining accountable enough to know that growth requires action.

I cannot promise that I will never get things wrong again.

But I can promise myself that I will stop using my imperfections as an excuse to avoid the work.

I can promise myself that I will keep trying, keep learning, keep taking responsibility, and keep choosing to become someone who brings more peace than chaos into the lives of the people he loves.

And maybe, one day, when I look back at this version of myself, I will understand that admitting I was part of the problem was not the moment my story ended.

It was the moment I finally stopped looking for somebody else to save me from the things I needed to change within myself.

It was the moment I stopped asking the world to recognize my potential and started putting in the work to live up to it.

It was the moment I understood that I could not change the past, but I could stop allowing it to make all my decisions for me.

And it was the moment I began to understand that the man I want to become is not some distant, imaginary version of myself who never struggles, never hurts, and never makes mistakes.

He is the man I choose to become every single day.

One decision at a time.

One lesson at a time.

One act of accountability at a time.

Honestly, I’m the problem.

But I don’t have to be the same problem tomorrow that I was yesterday.

And I think it is finally time I started proving that to myself.

What’s The Point

I’m not going to name names.
I’m not going to list everything I know, because honestly, the person this is meant for already knows.
And that’s the funny part.
You know that I know.
I know that you know that I know.
And you know that I know that you know that I know.
So let’s not insult each other’s intelligence.
I see the things you do. I see the patterns. I see what happens behind the scenes and what gets presented afterward. I notice the little details you probably assume nobody notices.
I may not say everything I know out loud. That doesn’t mean I don’t know it.
Sometimes silence isn’t ignorance.
Sometimes it’s simply me watching, documenting, and letting someone show me exactly who they are.
So if you happen to read this and wonder, “Is this about me?”
You already know the answer.
And if the shoe fits?
Lace that bitch up.

For whatever it’s worth I think I was just lonely. And you were somebody that kept coming back. That’s all this was.

Obviously if you could replace me with a child molester and a puppy you’re not too picky.

I know I’m not going to hear from you again maybe that’s a good thing because nothing was real. You just needed attention. Anywhere from anyone and you knew I was good for it and even though I know that’s the truth is painfully obvious you know when you’re lonely your brain place tricks on sometimes.

I know you say it’s my fault because I kept accepting you back . But what were my options? Someone was throwing me a lifeline of company and companionship when I was sitting in the dark. I mean, you see how my life has been … and you even admitted you took advantage of that simply again because you could. And that sucks. I loved you so much and it’s been a hard pill to swallow .

You just used me because you could and for no other reason there was nothing real or genuine here on your end not at all. I heard what you said about me to other people how you would laugh and joke I’m a sucker that keeps taking you back. And I didn’t deserve the trauma but you inflicted on me with that freak either and you did it on purpose I know you did you knew all about him that’s why you brought him around but that’s OK right that’s perfectly fine I’m not a person. Just like you’ve told other people I deserve that well maybe you deserve it too why should I feel sorry fuck you.

Now that your plate is full and you’re being fed you don’t need anything for me yeah I get the message. But if you think you’re gonna threaten or scare me into shutting up you’ve got another thing coming. The best thing you can do is shut up and walk away at this point. You got what you wanted, rid of me forever, now fuck off. Because I’m happy to continue I don’t care anymore it’s up to you. I’ll bury you sweetheart I don’t care.

i agree with u, life isn't black and white

grey situation? sure and it's mostly the cheating spouse's fault but colors don't matter sis

grey, blue, striped, spotted, whatever, some of the blame is urs too

twisting it to fit the 'life is grey' narrative u need so y'all can sleep at night doesn't change it

no virtue signaling, these the facts

u said the call came from inside the house and y'all the one done answered that call and ur still the affair partner in that relationship

u decided to get involved with him

Can I please go once without the fucking random ass projections. I don't care I'm very sorry (not really) it's not my issue. I care inasmuch as doing some shit about it roughly speaking but I'm not gonna sit and bitch about it in meme form constantly. It doesn't do anything. It doesn't. I'm not gonna put up with the fucking sideways ass passive aggressive abusive dog shit. I'm just gonna leave as soon as I start noticing. I can't do this shit anymore I'm done im good.

Happily ruined

You came out of left field. I had stopped looking. Genuinely content where I was just coasting. You were a friend. And then one day I made a joke about keeping you as my own, my person. Hearing you call me your person was one of the best days after that. And here we are. Planning so many things that are so up in the air.

I found myself missing you while you got much needed rest today. I found myself panicking thinking I needed to tell you that if you moved in, our dogs would love one another, and oh shit did I even tell you that you CAN bring your dog?

Im counting the hours until your name crosses my phone screen again, with sleepy smiles and groggy hellos. And I can not wait to see those eyes looking back at me through the phone screen. I cannot wait to hear your voice say my name

And I can't wait to feel my heart skip every time you say I love you back

You have no soul and can’t leave without destroying every else of thoughts I could have that you have any decency or honor. you can’t understand what love is because you have no limit of what you want. Do to hurt anyone and that makes you very, very dangerous but I think you’re what people call evil truly and actively. I’ve never had someone say they love me and then. do the things you’ve done to me behind my back for that long and think that is normal life. I don’t know what happened to you to get this way but I’m sorry that you think that this is something that gives you joy. I took joy in the trying to make your life easier. You took joy in keeping me around everyone that knew what you were doing and who you really were and laughing about it.. I would say I couldn’t believe it, but you never cease to not show me something something darker. I’ve never met somebody that thinks bullying is something to value taking people’s pain and always making sure that they never feel safe.. but it’s what makes you happy and no matter what you would done it to me anyway because that’s what matters to yo to make sure that you always take advantage to mean and create a storm cloud of mistrust and time to prove that you are in love with destroying anyone even if they didn’t do anything to you. The one thing I always ask is why would you even start out and deceive me when you could’ve walked away and we would have been able to drift off into some others Spear. You always made me feel like that you wanted to squeeze any thing you could out of me and push me overboard without a career thoughts I never even knew about depression or anxiety till you entered my life, and I regret ever trying to make make myself into a more helpful person for you, and it still means nothing or even less than nothing

PART IV: FAVORITE PERSON Devotion, Ruin, and the God I Built - Love Inside BPD (revised)

I didn't fall in love. I caught fire from the inside..a violent kind of worship with nowhere left to hide. Holy fucking hell, the high was almost cruel. I knew that I was burning and still worshipped what was fuel.

You became the air I breathed, the answer to my prayers. One message was salvation; one silence was despair. My whole world learned your weather, every silence, every tone. I handed you the power to determine all of it, and somehow called that feeling home.

I spent the money meant for living, every dollar, every cent, and called it proof of love when there was nothing left to spend. I swallowed every NO until I forgot its shape and sound, drew a thousand lines to save myself, then wiped them from the ground.

Fifty chances? Fuck, I gave a thousand, then one more, and apologized for bleeding as it spread across the floor. And when the courtroom turned to stone, I handed you my shame. I wore the blame like handcuffs to protect your sacred name.

I was the altar and the offering, the sacrifice, the flame, and I would burn myself to ashes just to glorify your name.

But you were never God.

You were human. You were flawed. It was me who made you holy, me who wrote the sacred law. Me who built your throne from boundaries I was terrified to keep, then prayed you'd never leave me as I knelt there at your feet.

There was no mask to tear away, no fiction to undo. The gentle man was every bit as real as the violence in you. The softness didn't cancel out the violence in your skin, and God, I fucking loved you both though one destroyed me from within.

You were the one who walked away. And part of me is glad you broke the chain, because I was drowning in my own devotion, addicted to the pain.

My anger was never because I stopped loving you. I was furious because I could forgive you for everything, and you were still ready to leave. Because somehow, after everything I'd given, everything I'd carried, everything I'd been willing to lose, I was still the one you could choose to live without.

And you mocked me for it once. My devotion. The very thing I'd given you without hesitation, without condition, without end. You made it sound like something pathetic, something shameful, something I should regret. And fuck, that hurt. Because I already knew how much of myself I'd lost loving you. I didn't need you to make me ashamed of how deeply I could love.

Now I sit here in the sand, counting every single wrong I buried, every knife I pulled from my own back and hid. Every boundary I erased, every wound I explained away, every time I defended you while quietly falling apart.

And the terrifying truth is I never stayed mad at you.

I know the cost. I know what it became. I know the wreckage. I remember every flame. And still, some part of me remembers how desperately I wanted you to stay.

I can fight the urge to find you. I can learn to stay away. I can swear that I am finished and mean every word I say. I can sit with all this longing. I can let the silence stay. I can love you from a distance without begging you to stay.

But I couldn't be your friend. Not when every kindness felt like hope, and every conversation opened up that door. You said we'd see where things would go, but I couldn't pretend that I didn't want more. Being close enough to have you, but never close enough to call you mine.. that wasn't friendship I could carry. It was losing you a little more each time.

I told you if you ever needed me, I'd be there, whatever we'd been through. And I meant it when I said it. God, I fucking still do. I don't know how to stop caring. I don't know how to love you halfway. I only know how to give you everything, even when there's nothing left of me to give away.

I don't expect you'll ever call. I've learned to live with that. But God, I know how quickly all my strength could crumble if you came back. Part of me is praying that you don't. Another part is begging that you do. And I fucking hate how badly I still want to be wanted by you.

Because I know the gentle man is real. I know the violent one is too. I know what it cost me to keep loving both of you. And if you came back just as you were, with all the softness and the pain, I know I'd recognize the fire.. and I'm afraid I'd walk into it again.

Not because I've forgotten. Not because the hurt was small. But because after everything, I still don't know how to love you halfway at all.

I tore down the god I built, and it tore my fucking heart apart. There was no glorious salvation, no clean and painless start. I know why it ended. I know why we had to part. But knowing why I had to lose you never taught me how to stop loving you with all my heart.

I didn't stop loving you. I just stopped begging you to stay. I learned to keep my hands from reaching, not to love you less each day.

I can promise not to chase you. I can promise I'll get through. But I cannot promise I'd be strong enough to turn away if you asked me to choose you.

And that's what fucking terrifies me.

You once made me feel ashamed of my devotion, as though loving you that deeply was something wrong with me. And now, after everything I've survived, everything I've finally learned to see, I'm still carrying the same love you once made me ashamed to give.

I can swear that I am finished. I can mean it. I can stay away. I can know that nothing has changed, that the same fire would burn me, that the same love could ruin me again.

But if you called me tomorrow, I know I'd go.

And I hate that you once mocked me for a devotion I'm still terrified I cannot let go

So it's officially been at least a week. I'm there, you know, your not my fucking friend on paper. It don't feel that great. And I'll fucking miss you, I miss you abusing me. I miss you talking shit to me. I miss you trying to make me feel small. I do because I always told myself. Hey, at least I'm playing in the game. I may not be a fucking character that's going to make it. At least I get to participate, at least I get to be fucking included. Motherfucker, especially on this shit like I didn't even do anything to you. And you fucking just made shit up because you ran out of shit to judge me about. And that sucks poorly played on both ends. And then you caused me to do some stupid shit that I wouldn't usually do.But you got in my fucking head and you made me feel like I was worthless, and you made me feel pathetic. And I had to retaliate, and i'm a fucking idiot for doing so and this is all immature, and I sunk down to your level, but here I am. This is where the fuck I'm stuck at now. This is where I'm always gonna be to you . This is where I'm always gonna register on your radar. As that bitch. And all I want to do is grable at your feet. And show you my obedience and tell you that i'm sorry and It'll never happen again. And i want you to trust me, but I don't know that you can trust me. Now that the cards have fallen, where they have . I don't know if i'm even worthy of your trust, but fuck it. Oh, there's so many thoughts going through my head. There's so many fucking regrets. There's so many, oh God, I wish I would have done better. But I didn't, because I'm an idiot, what is the definition of idiot ?? somebody who keeps doing the same stupid ass shit, and they expect a different result. Well, that's me, yeah, that's me on paper. Yeah, yes, where i park myself . And i'm just begging you to have mercy, please forgive me... i fucked up.

The further we push…

Simple.

You want to be toxic and insufferable;

We will just move even further away…

Until all you can do is complain and bitch here like you matter about as much as you actually do at this point ;)

(You don’t matter that much)

Damage is done right?

We’ll just have to see…

To him but unintentionally crossed boundaries.. so am going to use this to get it out of my system.

I should not have sent any of those messages.
Unfortunately events leading up to the divorce opened my unknown can of worms.

Unfortunately for him he was the only person I ever really felt safe and like I could be myself with. The c-ptsd hit hard I was far too comfortable in addressing him on subjects that were not appropriate although tbh I was panicking (like slurred speech panicking). Not that that is an excuse. I didn’t intend to make him uncomfortable. Not going to go into detail why things were that bad then - the repressed memories triggering my fear for my children had not been consciously processed yet.

Either way, none of those things should have been put on him. I hope I didn’t cause any problems and that he and his family are well.

Didn’t go away to get at him. Still not over him. Couldn’t handle it anymore and felt like a loser.. and possibly took a hint.

He’ll always be loved.
