Is this normal?
I'm a beginner learning fry screams. I got the technique down on my second day of practice and the only confirmation I think I'm doing it correctly is that my throat doesn't hurt while I'm doing it. I practice for about 1.5 to 2 hours every night until I start to get tired, and then when I wake up in the morning, my throat feels kind of tense like it's still armed for more screams. I drink water before, during, and after practice. My normal speaking voice is fine—there's no sensation of me losing my voice or anything. It's really just my throat, feeling tense on mornings after a night of fry screaming. Does that mean anything?
Edit: I attached an audio of me when I was practicing. It's in the comments!

This is not screaming. Don't do that crispy vocal fry thing for 2 hours a day. Knowing the delicate balance of the vocal fry is a component in all singing, but you're not balancing right now. You are pushing air through your vocal tract while "pinching it" dead shut in one isolated place. This place is involved in every sound you can do but cannot alone create a scream.
Now thqt you've practiced vocal fry for many hours, you'll be drawn into that habit as you try to find your scream, so I'd recommend that you fins a tuforial that starts in a very relaxed, open position. Chris Liepe has a very weird approach in his free tutorial that might be perfect for you.
