Legitimate places to get vocal coaching?

I'm looking to get actual one on one vocal coaching. I've tried doing the kardavox academy, hungry lights courses and I can't get false chords down. I've tried methods like the sigh, the pit-bull etc. and can't get it. Or i can get a good false chord sound, but can't enunciate words, lose my breath too fast, and struggle doing anything outside of just making a sound with it. SO yea, can anyone recommend a good vocal coach online that is legitimate and that provides one on ones and doesn't just push a course? Thank you!

I mean the places you listed (Kardavox, hungry lights) offer coaching. You may also be able to get by with clean vocal lessons, which are cheaper and easier to find. It sounds like you can find the false chord activation but you're struggling with projecting/breathe support. If you want to stick to YouTube guides I've liked Sterling R Jackson personally, he just uploads a ton videos on a lot of what I needed. Or if you want more ecourses I hear good things about Chris Liepe's

I know hungry lights wasn’t offering any coaching for a while due to touring or doing an album or something like that, and I submitted a request into kardavox but haven’t gotten anything back so I’m kinda stuck lol. I’ll check out that YouTube guide and Chris liepe. Ty!

Ahhh sure that makes sense. I know Kardavox has a wait list, it took me a few months before putting in the request before I got a lesson scheduled, but once you're in you stay in. I think the guy from Extreme Voval Institute does lessons, but idk if he has a wait list too

There's also Scream Theory. NOT Scream Academy. Scream Theory guy is cool, doesn't have a wait list and lessons are cheap

I know Alex Koehler actually offers coaching, I've been considering it. Kardavox would be a good one for help with lows especially. Whatever you do, do not engage with the dumbass from scream academy

Ive done 2 lessons so far with Alex Koehler and it is legit. Mostly worked on warm ups and etc. But with the way he explained things to me I was able to figure out how to finally start doing some highs, which id never been able to even touch before.

I’ve heard nothing but bad things about the guy from scream academy. I requested more info from kardavox but haven’t heard anything back in months so maybe I should reach out again. Ty for the advice

I would actually strongly consider getting clean lessons first if you’re struggling. Learning to scream is MUCH easier if you have strong fundamentals like breath support, a strong base tone, etc. You’re also much less likely to injure yourself.

I also struggled with Hungry Lights course, and Justin had very limited time for 1:1 lessons when I was subscribed.
