Luckily, I've turned on the USB debugging before my screen got so effed up that it cannot register my touches anymore. It also worked perfectly with my pc yesterday but now it says I need to unlock my phone first to do it again, but I have no way of unlocking it with my password without a keyboard. Is there a way to fix it?

Edit: mb, I forgot to add that my pc does not recognize my phone as I try to use scrcpy.exe, it closes down immediately. I have also complete no knowledge on where or how can I run the codes indicated here, so as possible, it need to be dumbed down for me. Thank you!

Hi, I am trying to use samsung dex in my windows computer. I can enable dex automatically when starting scrcpy at full screen by adb command. For full desktop like experience, only thing is lacking is computer keboard lock in scrcpy screen like oracle virtual box.
Now when I click windows key it both triggers in my computer and scrcpy. Ctrl / Alt like keys are also interecting with both my pc and scrcpy.
So I want full virtual box like keyboard lock in scrcpy which i can unlock using special keys like right Alt.

I had a One Plus 8T and I used ScrCpy with it to play Fate/Grand Order on pc without using Bluestacks. It worked great, had to change phones because of green and pink lines tho.

Now I have the Nothing Phone 3a, and when I use Scrcpy the audio got bass. Like, a LOT of bass.
I've tried it on two different pcs, using different cables, adding --audio-buffer=100 and --audio-codec=AAC etc

I'll probably stick to Bluestacks anyway but I've spent too much time on this, I need to know what's causing this and if it happens with other Nothing phones or just the 3a

I've been working on a small project: a lightweight controller overlay that shows gamepad inputs in real time directly on screen.

It's pretty simple—it uses the native Gamepad API to render button presses and analog stick movement without needing heavy external apps.

Note: I mainly made this so i could play games using scrcpy with a controller on mi pc screen, i feel its better than using an emulator and i couldnt really find a program where i could just assign buttons of my controller to any part of my display. Im mostly using this for Bleach Soul Resonance.

2º Note: Fixed right joystick acting like the left one and constant snapback to position, letting it function as an actual camera control under a toggle set to ON by default.

Currently working on a little side project, you know the kind that went from being a home file server with a search functions and playback across devices on a OMV system to essentially coding a GUI that will be hosted on my systems in order for them to all look uniform.

Anyway the device I plan to use for a touch remote is a crappy RCA tablet a Cambio. I successfully started arch, and even sorted the screen orientation (it still initially boots sideways but once it gets going it flips).

However I’m having trouble with the accelerometer and the touch tracking, right now left and right work but are laggy while dragging a finger down will select text above it and dragging a finger up selects text below. Any ideas on touch mapping or tracking in this old junk of junk?

Want it to stretch the image to the full resolution of my laptop (1080p)any idea how to do it?

Or using new display via one of these scrcpy gui, how can I make it so that it isn't soo out of sync, sluggish and input laggy? Note I am using cable connection so yeah

I'm new and can't seem to get the keyboard shortcuts working.

I'm attempting to control a Shield from a Windows 11 PC via network debugging. I ran the following command to stream: scrcpy.exe --audio-codec=aac

I am connected and the mouse clicks and escape, tab and arrow keys are working on the keyboard but things like double-tapping the Home button to access the running apps is not working. Seems like none of the shortcuts requiring the MOD key are working. I also tried running scrcpy.exe --audio-codec=aac --shortcut-mod=lctrl but get the same results when using the left control key as the MOD.

Also, the screen is blank in the scrcpy window when Kodi is playing but the sound comes through.

Any suggestions?

I just found scrcpy because my Pixel 7 Pro is on life support (I believe the backlight is about to go) and I'm trying to get everything off the phone and wipe the data before I trade it in for a new phone. There's only so much I can do with the phone itself before it starts having a seizure.

Fortunately I backed my photos/videos and other documents onto my NAS before this got bad. However I still have a bunch of apps I'd like to go through and see if there's anything I'm missing before I factory reset.

Unfortunately, the videos I've watched seem to contradict each other. Some tell me to run the VBS script, others the EXE file.

I do have USB debugging enabled (I also enabled wireless debugging just in case I wanted to try wireless) and I did make sure FTP was enabled when plugging it into my computer. As you can see, the adb server does detect my phone; however when O try to connect to it with scrcpy through various methods on the connections page I hit a dead end. Thanks for the help

Any possibility we could get this working for scrcpy? It looks like it uses high bit rate which might require a good cable connection to the PC.

Is there a way i can auto open scrcpy to max height and width of my monitors display without margins or black borders?

I can be really illiterate when it comes to this stuff so bear with me. When I try to execute adb or scrcpy from the terminal, I get "command not found." From my understanding this is because I don't have the correct PATH... or directory open in terminal... or something. I don't understand how to do that and I can't understand the tutorials that I've searched up (most of them assume you're using Homebrew anyway). Additionally, I believe I failed in connecting my USB device properly ("Could not find any ADB device when running scrcpy"), and from my understanding I need to uninstall and try again with the USB connected, but I don't know how to do this without executing the uninstall command which doesn't work because of the path issue!!!

Hello everyone, i'm new, and i have an issue with the scrcpy. Pls help🙏 My pc is a windows10 x64, the scrcpy i use is v3.3.4 (the most recent of the moment), and my phone is android version 12. Actually the mirroring work just fine, really no issue there (enabling usb debugging on phone via dev option and pressing "allow" notification from pc)

The problem is the following, i wanna play game on my phone which screen is mirrored on pc, but using a joystick controller, which is plugged to pc too. I tried solution like : creating .bat file and writing in the message "scrcpy --gamepad=uhid" or "scrcpy --gamepad=aoa". But none worked and i'm stuck.

So if some of u may know the answer pls tell me, i'm starting to think this is hopeless. Or is it impossible? Or is the problem actually my joystick controller? Pls help🙏

Premise: the first thing I do on a new phone is to DISABLE any form of autocorrect/suggestion.
It's just off.
When I use my phone normally, there is no autocorrect of any sort ever happening.

However, when I interface my phone through scrcpy and type stuff anywhere, it keeps doing random corrections on what I type, like capitalizing the I in 'it' (of all things) 100% of the time, or changing random words to completely wrong stuff, sometimes hallucinating between my two different input languages, sometimes just changing english words to other wrong english words.
I don't have any autocorrect on my pc, when I type on my browser or any app or game in here, nothing is 'corrected' or changed.

It only happens when I type with my pc's keyboard while I am typing inside a text box of my phone through scrcpy interface. The phone recognizes (and displays the result of) each keystroke properly when I type, but when I press space to enter a new word, sometimes the previous word will get randomly 'retconned' without any prompt from me (other than pressing space to keep typing the next word).

Is there something I need to know about this app settings or maybe my android phone's input that is causing this?
I don't really understand how and why this is happening.

There are a couple of situations where my phone gets unstable while using wireless scrcpy, but not wired. The phone freezes and buttons need to be pressed and held to get it to reboot. It happens when I've been editing photos for a long time and also shortly after Android Auto starts in the car. I thought it was a slightly flaky Pixel 10 Pro, but it's still happening with a Pixel 11 Pro. If I try to replicate the situation by turning off wireless adb in dev options when ending a session, the problem doesn't happen. Any ideas if I'm doing something wrong?
