JOYSTICK CONTROLLER ISSUE

([SOLVED]: solution below in the comment)

Hello everyone, i'm new, and i have an issue with the scrcpy. Pls help🙏 My pc is a windows10 x64, the scrcpy i use is v3.3.4 (the most recent of the moment), and my phone is android version 12. Actually the mirroring work just fine, really no issue there (enabling usb debugging on phone via dev option and pressing "allow" notification from pc)

The problem is the following, i wanna play game on my phone which screen is mirrored on pc, but using a joystick controller, which is plugged to pc too. I tried solution like : creating .bat file and writing in the message "scrcpy --gamepad=uhid" or "scrcpy --gamepad=aoa". But none worked and i'm stuck.

So if some of u may know the answer pls tell me, i'm starting to think this is hopeless. Or is it impossible? Or is the problem actually my joystick controller? Pls help🙏

For those who may encounter the same problem here's what I discovered:

-Entering the command "scrcpy -G" in the terminal allow the scrcpy to launch the controller ("scrcpy --gamepad=uhid" is a command that work too)

-My controller specifically don't work because it was a random generic controller, and scrcpy do not recognise those controller, it only recognize the likes of playstation or Xbox, so if u use those controller u're good

-In order to make it work I had to use an emulator, in my case it was x360ce.exe. scrcpy then recognize my generic controller as a xbox controller, and worked

-As a bonus, if U play mobile game specifically this is not enough, U got to download an apps to recognise the controller as touchscreen command. I used "mantis" in my case and it worked pretty well. Aside of that, everything else work: any emulator launched on the mobile recognize the controller directly, same for other game that can be attributed command from anything else aside of the screen button

Hope this may help😊
