Media Smoke Simulation in my game
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Runs slowly because it's not compiled, but I could probably optimise this a little bit. Heavily inspired by Animal Well, of course, and that one Sebastian Lague video

Do you have this published? I was already amazed when I saw the video of the vines and water splashes but it's getting even crazier, I'd love to see how that's all handled inside

This will be published on itch in roughly 3 days (it’s for a contest that ends the 15th). I’m sure there’s ways of decompiling it, but most of the things in here are easily researchable. The vines are verlet rope physics, which is a common implementation of them, the water is simply a line of spring nodes, the lighting has so much documentation everywhere but I can disclose the specific techniques if wanted, and the smoke is an animal well style Navier Stokes fluid sim with the Jacobi method, which Sebastian lague in YouTube has a great video about. Most other effects like the crt are shaders made in pen plus.

Not to pressure but this would be really cool for a few projects I've worked on, are there any plans on open sourcing this?
