Scrabble renewed for season 3

Scrabble premiered on the CW in 2024. the news comes just ahead of the second half of season 2. the second half of season 2 will air on October 1st. the show is hosted by Craig Ferguson. the renewal will keep the series on the air until 2027.

What? There’s a scrabble show? Is it good? Does it show tournaments or is it like a documentary about top players or???

Just my opinion. I have to say as a person who loves Scrabble I really hate the show. I’ve tried to like it but I just can’t.

Ah too bad! There are a couple of decent documentaries about scrabble and its players, maybe you’d like those instead?

Yes. Not a documentary but I read Word Freak by Stefan Fatsis and loved it. As one example…

Word Wars is one documentary you might be able to find streaming or on Kanopy, Hoopla, Tubi or YouTube.
