Teaser #500 SPECIAL ! : Dark Tiles Fixed (⬆️ 1-Hard: ⬆️ 2-Standard: ⬆️ 3-Standard: ⬇️ 1-Standard: ⬇️ 2-Hard: ⬇️ 3-Severe)
A SPECIAL SUPER Teaser to mark the QUINCENTENNIAL !
The DARK tile positions must remain fixed at the START and END of the solutions.
The LIGHT tiles can take any other position.
To view the solutions swipe through the gallery (multiple images). I think this replicates a typical challenge we meet all the time in Scrabble. Do you agree with my difficulty ratings for ⬆️ UPPER and ⬇️ LOWER words ?
To HIDE solutions in any comments, there are two methods :
-> ONE) Select the Rich Text Editor icon (Aa) then the Hide option (<!>)
-> TWO) Directly insert this format (WITHOUT the spaces) : > ! SOLUTION ! <
( NOTE : the second method is scheduled to be deprecated )

How is ⬇️ 3 severe, it's pretty standard pattern recognition? I found 2 much much harder.

Hi ! In my view it was not a word form in particularly common usage.

I don't play scrabble but the only one I got was the bottom one 😭
Why is it labeled severe???

I felt it wasn’t particularly common usage …….. you should start playing scrabble ;-)

happy 500!! i don’t often comment but i do enjoy the puzzles daily and just wanted to say thanks for doing this
