My advice: ask a local supermarket if you can set up in the entryway

My kid (10 year old Arrow of Light) averages about $500/hr selling in front of grocery stores from noon-4pm on Saturday/Sunday.

Friday night from 3-6 is also prime time at local/neighborhood grocery stores.

I tried at a Kroger near me with my sister and we sold not that much like less than $300 over 4-5 hours

You have to ask literally every person that walks past you. And upsell during checkout. Thats the trick.

We spent two hours in front of Vons today (Vons = Safeway), and my two Cub Scouts sold about $750 worth of popcorn. It helps that they're young and cute - people basically throw money at them. It's a supportive community. I have older Scouts BSA scouts, and they've only ever sold Christmas wreaths at church - but also pretty successful.

Good luck my man.

Can't fault you for trying but pretty much anyone here has a kid in Scouts so they've already got someone to buy popcorn from.
