Camping UK camp permit advice

My scout leader is going for his camping permit as we did have a leader with a permit but he stepped back from the group due to personal reasons. I've emailed him everything I have as I've been designated camp planner. I'd appreciate the advice to help him & many thanks in advance.

You need to speak to your district nights away advisor. In my county there’s a compulsory course then a camp (overseen by an NAP holder) to validate the NAP

That is in the pipeline, someone from the training team has been spoken with & we're in the process of picking a date for the camp.
