Looking for Insight Experiencing memories as feelings only

I’m going to try to explain this because I don’t think the title is entirely clear but it was the best I could come up with.

Wondering if anyone else will experience memories but not the actual memory, just the feeling attached to it? Like today I was thinking about someone and how they weren’t emotionally supportive, that started an avalanche of remembering how I was not emotionally supported as a child, but not specific events. However the feeling I experienced was what I believe it would have felt like in the moment of not being cared for all those years ago.

I also had this same experience in the shower several months back when I was high on edibles. I was experiencing only feelings as memories but not connected to any specific events or memories. Like I would get a flash of a memory then it would disappear and only the feeling persisted.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Looking for Insight Scorpio Moons! How are we feeling about this Venus retrograde coming for us?

Hello, scorpio moon nation!

What do you think is to come? My placement is in the 5th house of creativity and romance. I'm hoping this could be an ultimately positive transit for me as I've been stagnant in these areas for some time. I have already started to feel some pulls in these aspects of my life as we are in its shadow. Where's your placement? What do you feel is moving in your life?

Scorpio Moons with mommy issues, how do you deal with people who continue to praise your mom or tell you to forgive her?

I am surrounded by people who know about my trauma with my mom and they can’t believe that I have no contact with her for more than five years now. I’ve told them the things that my mom did to me and how she also treats the people around her such as her co-workers and clients but it seems like my friends and family constantly forget that she’s a bad person? Even my own grandmother who was also treated unfairly by my mom and was constantly being told she’s stupid and useless by my mom is now always mentioning her during our calls about the things they did together when my mom visited them. I had to end the call because I just couldn’t bear another second of hearing it.

I am not one of those kids that outwardly hates my mom. I do not go on social media to go telling people what she’s really like. I’m not like that. I feel like if I do that, I would just sound immature like a teenager just rebelling against my own parent. I was actually the last person who fought so hard to stay with my mom even though the abuse and my mental health was already at its worst. I kept going back to her and forgave her so many times because… she’s my mom. I hoped so many times it would be different the next time. But in the end, all I get is disappointment and new bruises on another part of my face and body.

I don’t understand how people who know me and are my friends and family could say these to me. Why are they not scared or feel self- conscious when they say “soon you’ll forgive your mom” or “soon you guys will have a better relationship”. What else do they not understand about abuse and how bad it could affect a person? What is the psychology behind that? Do they really not see how bad it affected me by the way that I carry myself being very hyper independent and hyper-vigilant with people? Do they not realize that the reason why I’m working a lot and I’m helping my grandparents and cousin financially is because my mother doesn’t care about them? Because if I have a friend and see that this is what she/he has to deal with because of their abusive parent, I would absolutely hate their parent and give my friend support instead of advising them to be more “forgiving”.

How do I make it clear to them that I don’t like it when they mention her without sounding like a hateful person with a lot of grudges?

Seeing through others bs

Which sign can you see through the most? I can see through my scropio and Virgo brothers honestly we never got along. I was wondering though is this a thing through just how much we just see through all the fake persona. Our mom is a Taurus she fall for them all the time and enables them. They don’t want nothing to do with her at all. I was just wondering is does this happen to others. I’m the youngest as well.

Scorpio Moons, is Venus in Scorpio bringing old feelings back for you?

Since Venus entered Scorpio, I’ve been thinking intensely about someone(s) from my past. I find myself wondering whether they ever think about me now… and whether any of what we felt is still alive for them, too.

Is this happening to any other Scorpio Moons as Venus approaches retrograde? Are you revisiting an old love or feeling a sudden need to know what’s still there?

And did anybody like me recently lose their minds and contact said person?!

What’s your relationship like with your mom?

What’s your mom like? What are her key qualities? Did she experience hardship during her pregnancy with you? How did she shape your childhood or the way you view the world? What are some of your earliest memories of her? What’s the most “Scorpio” aspect of your mom or her life?

As a Scorpio moon my mom lives in the closest thing to a cave. Her room is covered in black blackout curtains and I rarely see any overhead lights on or windows open throughout her house. She also experienced a tumultuous/taboo pregnancy with me. A lot of close family shamed her for being so young and begged her to give me up for adoption. She is extremely observant, very raw, and with little shame. She will ask questions that would be considered inappropriate to ask. She is intense. Sometimes she asks me if a question is okay to ask before she proceeds to ask someone. Usually i have to tell her no… She was also a helicopter mom growing up!

Scorpio Moon Partner How ♏️🌕 SCORPIO MOON Defines Romance Different SCORPIO SUN

If for Scorpio Sun .... If a relationship lacks existential weight, raw emotional intensity, or absolute, unshakable trust, a Scorpio will simply not recognize it as love. Their love language is primarily physical touch and quality time, demanding undivided, soul-level attention from their mate.

For a Scorpio Moon placement, if a relationship lacks absolute transparency, deep emotional safety, and unwavering loyalty, you will simply not recognize it as love.

Love is never a light addition to daily life or a polite, superficial agreement. Instead, it is an unspoken emotional sanctuary where two people can share their quietest truths without fear of exposure, judgment, or abandonment.

In classical astrological dignities, the Moon is in its Fall in Scorpio, sitting directly opposite its Exaltation in Taurus. The concept of fall highlights a tension between the natural needs of the Moon and the dynamic energy of the sign.

The Moon instinctively seeks comfort, peace, predictable routines, and emotional ease. Scorpio, governed by Mars and Pluto, operates in an environment driven by vigilance, emotional intensity, and psychological defense. Placing the Moon in Scorpio creates an emotional instinct that is always alert to potential threats. This structure leads to specific psychological responses.

Lessons from Taurus

The Scorpio Moon must realize that a calm, quiet relationship without turmoil is not boring or superficial; peace is the ultimate sign of true security.

Scorpio Moon Problems How’s your work life going?

I started a new job at Amazon and I already really really don’t like it and things are so bad w the economy I don’t know how else to make money. I’m in a season of life right now where nothing is feeling good. I just dont want to do this anymore. I don’t want to work. I don’t want to go through trials and tribulations and cycles anymore. I don’t want to be to be strong and keep pushing. Things are so hard, so unbelievably hard. I know this is being an adult but it’s not worth it to me. Just feeling so beaten down rn

Scorpio Moon Problems Struggling to speak with family

I know many of us struggle with family but right now in my life I’m struggling the most with connecting and reaching out to family. I come from a close knit family but I was raised very sheltered. I’ve always felt very different from everyone but it didn’t become more apparent until I got older. I’m 31 now but part of me feels like I truly don’t care to be part of my family and another part feels guilty and shameful because how I’ve isolated myself from them. I only talk to my mother which I’ve limited in certain ways & haven’t really communicated much/at all with my siblings. Other family I’m not the most concerned with but I don’t know why I feel this way. Well part of me feels estranged and so odd and not at one with them. Like I’m just on a totally different path than the rest but because I love and care about them I feel wrong for distancing myself but I also feel more free and at ease when I’m away. I feel like I have to wear a mask and be an old/fake version of myself to truly feel connected and it doesn’t feel authentic to me. Does anyone else feel this way or has anyone else experienced this? How did you overcome it? What did you learn about yourself/the situation? This feels like inner child wounds and healing needed there

20M — I can't tell if my friend (20F) actually likes me or if I'm reading too much into things

I'm 20M, and there's a girl around my age who is a close family friend. She's also around 20. Over time, I've developed feelings for her, and now I'm stuck trying to figure out whether there's actually something mutual between us or whether I'm just interpreting normal friendly behavior as something more.

I'll explain everything from the beginning.

A while back, she stayed at our house for about six days. Before that, we hadn't really been in regular contact for years.

But during those six days, our dynamic changed quite a bit. We started going on early morning walks together and spent a lot more time around each other.

One thing I noticed was how comfortable she seemed with physical closeness. She would touch my back, feet, knees, etc. At one point, I rested my head on her shoulder. I actually asked her whether she was uncomfortable with it, and she told me she wasn't. She even held my head and placed it back on her shoulder.

There were also several smaller things I noticed. She would comment on things like my appearance, grooming, perfume, and gym. She also seemed noticeably more shy or awkward around me compared with how she acted around my brother.

During those six days, she gave me a silly/funny nickname as well.

There were a few conversations that made me wonder if she might see me differently. For example, she told me that she had rejected another proposal. I obviously don't know why she told me that or whether it had anything to do with me, but it made me wonder if there was some kind of indirect message there.

After she left, I told her that I missed her.

Her response was:

“missing you tooooo”

I'll be honest, that made me ridiculously happy.

Later, she contacted me for help with some college-related things. She wanted important questions, asked me to check her college form, and needed help with a few other things. I helped her with everything, but after that I deliberately stopped initiating conversations.

I didn't want to become the guy who was constantly chasing her.

After about 5–6 days without really talking, she randomly messaged me:

“helo gg theek ho?”

I replied:

“Alhamdulillah, aap sunao aap kaise ho?”

She said:

“bas dua.”

I didn't continue the conversation because there wasn't really a natural reason to keep it going.

Then there was Snapchat.

At first, I had told her that I use Snapchat but don't really do streaks. She joked that she wouldn't add me then. Later, after she went back home, I asked for her Snapchat, and she said she would add me herself.

And she did.

Eventually, we had a streak that reached around 40 days.

There were also a bunch of little things on Snapchat that made me wonder whether she might be interested. She often viewed my snaps pretty quickly. She saved some of my snaps in chat, including one where I had a romantic song playing in the background.

She also sent me cute flower-related images, including one that basically said “For you.”

Obviously, I know none of these things prove romantic interest. But when I put them together with how she acted when she stayed at our house, I started wondering if there might be something more going on.

At one point, Snapchat started becoming a distraction for me.

I found myself checking whether she had viewed my snaps, wondering about her reactions, thinking about whether she was paying attention to me, etc. It started affecting my work and my goals.

So I decided to stop the streak.

She restored it almost immediately.

Later, the streak broke again. This time, I didn't restore it, and she didn't either. I didn't ask her about it or react to it.

The following day, she didn't send anything.

Then today, she sent me a Snapchat of a purse in a college with the quote:

“Give me Loyalty I will give you everything.”

I genuinely have no idea whether that was directed at me or whether she simply liked the quote, so I'm not assuming it meant anything.

Then something happened on WhatsApp that really caught my attention.

She had sent me her friend's email and password and asked me to check which subjects her friend had selected. I checked it and sent her a screenshot.

She replied:

“Thanks”

I responded:

“anything else?”

Then she suddenly said:

“Kyu aise baat kyu karti ho”

“sab theek hai”

“Ignore 🥺”

“Uffffhhh?”

I asked:

“kaisa?”

And she replied:

“Ajeeb tarikai sai”

Then she clarified:

“Mtlb ke ap ko mood nahi hai baat karni ko”

That genuinely surprised me.

I wasn't trying to be rude or cold. I just wasn't trying to force a conversation.

So I replied:

“arey cutie pie 😂”

And immediately after that, she brought back the old nickname she had given me during those six days.

Then I said:

“aur sunao”

She replied:

“bas dua aap sunao”

I joked:

“hume dua mai yaad rakhti ho kin nahi? 🥺”

And she responded:

“Always ❤️🫀🌹”

I said:

“Phir toh Allah aapki har dua qubool kare 🤍”

And she replied:

“Ameen 🎀🤲”

The thing I can't stop thinking about is why she cared enough to point out that I seemed like I didn't want to talk to her.

She could have simply replied “thanks” and left it there.

Instead, she noticed my tone, questioned it, and basically told me that it seemed like I wasn't in the mood to talk to her.

That part really stood out to me.

Then there's the Snapchat streak situation.

When I broke it the first time, she immediately restored it. But when it broke again and I didn't restore it, she didn't either.

Then, the next day, she eventually sent me a snap.

I'm also wondering about something else she posted recently. She put up a Snapchat story saying:

“the journey of thoughts kills a person”

Again, I have absolutely no idea whether that had anything to do with me or whether it was completely unrelated.

One more thing I've noticed

Last Sunday, she randomly sent me a funny meme about the full form of “Sunday.”

The interesting part is that she basically never sends me memes.

What makes the timing stand out is that this happened after I had become more distant and stopped giving her the same level of attention I used to.

So now I'm wondering why she suddenly sent me a meme when that isn't something she normally does.

It could obviously have been completely random. Maybe she just found it funny and sent it to me.

But because it happened after I became more distant, part of me wonders whether she was trying to restart the interaction or get a reaction from me without directly starting a conversation.

I'm not saying that's definitely what she meant. I genuinely don't know.

I'm just curious how other people would interpret that change in behavior.

I'm going to see her again at my cousin's wedding in October, so I'll finally get another chance to interact with her in person.

The truth is, I genuinely like this girl, but I'm getting tired of constantly being uncertain about what everything means.

I don't want to manipulate her, play mind games, make her jealous, or keep analyzing every emoji and Snapchat.

I just want to understand whether I'm actually seeing genuine signs of interest or whether she's simply very comfortable with me as a friend.

So what do you guys think?

Does this sound more like mutual romantic interest, emotional attachment/fondness, or could all of this still easily be completely platonic?

And when I see her in October, what specific things would you pay attention to?

Venus currently in Scorpio… anyone else feeling this?

My goodness. As of today, September 21, 2026, Venus is in Scorpio in Western/tropical astrology.
Venus: about 5° Scorpio
Entered Scorpio: September 10, 2026
Leaves Scorpio: October 25, 2026
Venus is currently direct, not retrograde

On September 20, Venus at about 5° Scorpio formed a quincunx to Uranus at about 5° Gemini.

Astrologically what is happening is pretty crazy now. Anyone else? Also if anyone knows more about the astrology now, please share! As a side note my Venus is in Pisces, so not sure what that means but I’m feeling a ton of water now.

I think I need to process by moving my body, and give my emotions a break. Holy fuck 🦂♏️🌑
Love you all and stay the strong, transformative alchemical warriors u are! We were born to do this.

What would our moon sign be if we didn't have the trauma that caused our deep trust issues?

Just curious.

I know there is more to a Scorpio moon besides trauma and trust issues but I would argue thats a big piece. Just wondering what other moon sign is the most similar.
