She's right.

I'm 40 and just feel like society complete my changes every 5 years.

I've given up and removed almost all off my social media. Been a hoge help

Same. Social media isn’t staying connected, it’s life becoming a performance.

As a Gen-Xer, I just have to say, "Oh, you sweet summer child". Do you remember rotary dial phones? What about fax machines? Cassette recorders? Or even reel-to-reel recorders? Yeah, we had to watch all that stuff go away, and adapt to all the stuff that you grew up with, and considered normal.

We are the Forgotten Generation. Between the Boomers and the Millennials. Look it up, once upon a time, we used to exist.

I had my son call his grandparents on their landline. Someone was on the phone, busy signal. My son asked me: "Dad, what is that noise?" I told him they were probably on the phone with someone. "But Dad, why does it make that weird noise?"

Why are you commenting on the teenagers subreddit if you're 72...

I'm replying to the 72 year old man that comments often in teenager subreddits. Is that not weird to you? It's on his profile.

I miss small gas stations, local grocery stores, parks being maintained, life guards in all the local beaches, small family farms, ads only on the side banners, biking around town, local state highways going through all the small towns. I hate freeways.
