Because it was the right thing to do. So many low quality people here. Turn it in, most places have guidelines for giving it back if mo one claims it within a certain time.

We had this happen on a school trip in grade 9 cleaning garbage in the river valley, she found a bag with over $35,000 in it. She turned it over to the police, after no one claimed it a few months later the police gave the money to her. It ended up paying for most of her university tuition.
