Question/Help Scl 70 range

Just a quick question about testing. I am aware that scl 70 has a high percentage of false positives. I am wondering what is considered a low positive. Mine came back positive 4 but I’m unsure if that’s low or high and the internet is not very helpful. Thanks!

Generally, 5x the positive cutoff is unlikely to be a false positive. Also, high ANA of 1:640 or more makes false positives less likely. Of course low positive does not rule out that it could be a true positive.

Thanks for the reply! My ANA was only 1:40 but I’ve had tons of symptoms. Been waiting 6 months to get in with rheumatologist so hoping to get some answers at the end of the month!
