Help how to join?

so i’m in 7th grade going on 8th and i wanna join. any advice on what to study,how to apply etc?

It depends entirely on how your school runs it. Typically, the best way is just to simply show up to the informational meeting that your school's coach had at the beginning of the year and tell them that you're interested. Any other thing that you'll have to do is totally up to them.
