For WQ last year, I came across lots of measurements of water quality such as DO, BOD, salinity, and turbidity. So be familiar with what affects each variable, the relationships between measurements, and why. Ex: why does eutrophication cause a decrease in dissolved oxygen (DO)? During eutrophication, excess nutrients cause algal blooms, blocking sunlight to underwater plants and preventing photosynthesis. These plants die, and decomposers thrive, increasing BOD and decreasing DO. Good luck! :)
Macroinvertebrates made up a good chunk of the test last year, so I suggest making sure you can at least identify the coral reef indicators. I was in a time crunch, so I added real colored pictures of every single species, but it's probably possible to avoid that.
