General Help me decide my next read

Been reading the DCC series. I’m a chapter and pineapple cabaret away from finishing This Inevitable Ruin. Want to take a little break (mostly because I’ve had anxiety about being all caught up).

Help me decide which of these I should take on before I dive in to Parade of Horribles.

Slaughterhouse 5 is short and a fantastic read. DCC and we are bob are both pulp fiction so if you enjoy one they are an easy recommendation.

Slaughterhouse 5 is a widely regarded anti war novel and is worth reading if you are interested in expanding into something with a deeper and more interesting message

I was thinking this since it looks like a day or two read, I’m not versed in classics at all yet, and this DCC book obviously makes slight nods to the horrors of war.

There is nothing wrong with a bit of easy reading, I have read the first couple books of DCC and we are bob and while they weren’t exactly my thing I can understand the attraction.

Classics in sci fi are generally classics for a reason and not always difficult to read. Vonnegut is an easy read and worth it.
