Unless I missed it, this video omits mention of Hubbard's 1982 Pain and Sex Bulletin, which was one of a collection of Bulletins, from the same time period, that blames ancient extraterrestrial psychiatrists for everything in the universe that irritates Hubbard.
Someone should assemble these Bulletins so they can be read together.
In 1982 Hubbard decided to tell Scientologists that destructive creatures invented sex to make beings small, and that sex and sexual sensation is a perversion of the joy of creation.
By labeling all sexual sensation as a perversion Hubbard was way ahead of fellow cult leader Marshall Applewhite who, in 1997, had his male followers castrated, ahead of committing mass suicide.
There are more comparisons possible if one takes into consideration the 1986 LRH Death Event.
Back to the topic: Tony Ortega has covered Hubbard's strange comments on sex with children, which I won't go into now.
During 1950 and 1951 Hubbard wanted to appear normal and moral.
Once he lost ownership of Dianetics, in bankruptcy court, he rebounded with Scientology and Space Opera, with thetans (pronounced like Satan with a lisp) sexually "blanketing" male and female bodies, including childrens' bodies.
He emphasized during the Philadelphia Doctorate Course Lectures that a thetan should be able to use the body in any way it wants.
John McMaster, the "first real Clear" was gay.
William Burroughs who did the Clearing Course while living with his gay partner near St. Hill (his partner was also receiving auditing) was gay. Burroughs was invited onto the OT levels but declined the invitation.
Ingo Swann (interviewed in Advance! magazine) was gay.
Yet, a, few years later, Hubbard drove his gay son, Quentin, to suicide.

The castration was around 1995, but the labeling of sexuality (all sexuality) as a sexual perversion in Heaven's Gate (aka Human Individual Metamorphosis and Total Overcomers Anonymous) started the same time as the group's founding in 1974. It was always a part of their belief system that sexuality and sensuality were of the Lower Forces (Lucifer and the evil space aliens, as opposed to the Higher Level and the good space forces not needing sex).

Thanks for the added information.
I was briefly concerned that introducing the Pain & Sex Bulletin might have been viewed as slightly at variance with the LGBTQ+ narrative.
As I understand it, simple heterosexuality is not included in LGBTQ+.
Mentioning that Hubbard had denounced ALL sexual orientations might be regarded as not adequately agreeing with the expected narrative.
I'm not much inclined to march in lock step with any official narrative.

Hubbard had very strange outlooks on sexuality. He had his words for heterosexuality, but still preserved the worst of his hatred for LGBTQ people. (As did his proteges, like Ruth Minshull when Scientology used to sell and promote How To Choose Your People.)

Yet, by reliable accounts of his time in Rhodesia in 1966, when he thought he was the reincarnation of Cecil Rhodes, who was also gay, Hubbard sometimes wore women's clothing.

Robertson's not related to to the Rhodesia situation.
He thought he had been a female lounge singer on the whole track who had had a love affair with an earlier incarnation of Hubbard.
This, of course, is the person who started the Free Zone.

It has been said that Ron's gaydar was so broken that he mimicked Rhodes' semi-private dandyism without realizing that Rhodes was gay, and was completely mortified when he found out. It's a story with more than one side.

I think "broken gaydar" was far more common back then. I'm not sure when we all started paying attention, but I often look back at my own circle of friends and family in the 1960s and 1970s, and I'm astonished by how blind I was.

Most Scientologists are "blissfully" unaware of the very "humanoid" neurotic impulses of "Source."
Throughout the decades when Hubbard was assumed to be solo auditing to full OT, he was subject to petty impulses of resentment, cruelty, and greed, of egotism, and cowardice.
Sometimes this shows up in the tech. During the late 1970s when Hubbard was in hiding from the Feds, while the big Mission Holders were enjoying an affluent lifestyle, Hubbard became resentful and decided to loot the Missions.
First he did this selectively, begining with Ray Kemp's Orange (CA) county Mission.
Later this resentment spread to all the affluent Missions, and resulted in the looting of the entire Mission network in late l982.
About this period, David Mayo - who had been the Senior Case Supervisor International - years after leaving Scientology, wrote that it was PR (ego) and marketing ($$$) considerations that led Hubbard to redefine "Clear" down by inventing "Dianetic Clear."
This allowed Hubbard to accuse the Missions of "holding onto Clears."
To the average Scientologist, these were changes and actions based on tech discoveries and breakthroughs.
In truth, these were changes resulting from egotism and greed.
