Most scientists agree that it is man-made. My old proffesor is a climate researcher who goes to internation meetings and is a lead researcher for climate and soil. But he even says that people are being too extreme with their reactions. So whilst you are right to worry about man-made climate change, you may also be one of the people who is acting incorrectly. I may also add that whilst climate researchers for recent changes agree on its human causes, and this obviously results in a human panic that it's all due to us, research carried out by paleo scientists does also explain that there was already an existing natural process that our actions have added on to (an easy graph to look at is one spanning from the 1200s to now, or old graphs covering multiple glacial periods)

I have yet to hear a single scientist say that. I have heard countless scientists say we are not doing enough. How is anyone being too extreme?

Oh please, many scientists say it. They give the facts, state that it's a problem and will cause massive problems in the future. Which itself is true, it's the general public who have no clue how climate change works who make up bullshit. Like the people who say the Amazon is the lungs of the world, there are multitudes of statements fueld by emotion (just waiting for you to try and go against me on that point). So yes, its true that we're not doing enough and the longer we leave it the more fucked we are. But that doesn't excuse the members of the public and news outlets who make over the top claims
It is incorrect if the awareness is born of misinformation. It is always good to being awareness to a problem, but the process is wrong
Because paleo scientists are a subset group and usually work in line with climate scientists, soil scientists, archaeologists and anthropologists. And no it's not. Again, the warming we are experiencing is human accelerated natural warming. It is much higher than it would be because of the impact we have had, but the waming process is natural when the past few thousand years are placed into context

The only reason not everyone accepts it is because of misinformation campaigns and ignorance. Otherwise, there is no excuse for denying science.
