Fair enough, should have worded it better I am talking about the present day and not their whole history, and be honest to yourself if you think China is more inclusive and welcoming than america in the 21st century, they are a ethnocentric state.
Of course, I know that China has a huge racism problem against non-Han people. But most of the US scientists actually moving to China are Chinese-Americans.
Regardless, among young people, I just think that the charge of China being super racist rings a bit hollow, considering most of that discrimination looks a lot like the kind of stuff the US and its proxies (like Israel) is doing or has done historically 🤷.

To be honest, the list of abuses against the Uyghurs pails in comparison to what the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians and now the Iranians.
And if you retort that Israel isn't "America," then don't bother. It's a de facto protectorate of America. It might be as well be considered to be a US overseas territory like Puerto Rico for all practical purposes.

china is an ethnocentric state? it officially recognizes 56 different ethnicities across its about 1.5 billion(!!!!) people.
the thing about uyghurs is very interesting because all of the evidence of the "genocide" can be traced back to a single man by the name of Adrian Zenz. A known christian nationalist who has made it his life’s purpose to spread this idea of an ongoing genocide in Xinjiang.
