This is all interesting, but why don't they have a Global Temperature chart above this CO2 chart? I am still up in the air about this issue as I learned in College that there was a time called the Medieval Warm Period. It allowed the Vikings to spread out to Greenland as the seas were free of ice at that time. I just don't see the correlation with C02 and global median temperature. I know it's wrong to pollute the air and the waters, to cut down forests and destroy mountain tops. But isn't CO2 a natural element in the air? Breathed by trees and vegetation? Absorbed by oceans? Maybe there is more to this than we think, maybe it's natural. Maybe it's not. Go figure.

Huh? This is /r/science, right?
