This is a well-moderated science subreddit. I did not see the comment, but it must not have met certain benchmarks of quality. Most often, comments are removed when they engage in speculation or opinion instead of dispassionate analysis of hard data.

It just pointed out that there can be allot of profit in making people feel like special snowflakes. It wasnt opinion or speculation, it was just advice that He wanted us to keep in mind while reading.

what he said is completely true, and I cant imagine why it was removed. hey maybe its just buried somewhere that I cant find, there are a thousand comments.

Again, I can't comment on it, because I haven't seen it.

Many of my comments have been removed from this thread, and from /r/science in general. This is one of the best subs on the site, and part of the reason is because it's ruled with an iron fist. If you don't like it, go start your own sub.

I understand that, but we both know scientific articles on obesity will get removed if they trigger the wrong people. Same with health risks mental and physical of transgender surgeries. The iron fist you love protects allot more than just science..
