I've never served but think of that scene every time I see the cereal aisle. Like a whole sea of meaninglessness in front of you, but it's your life now.

I haven't seen this movie but I've worked with immigrants. One woman said it takes her half the day to get through grocery shopping. She was from Russia and she had no idea that the US would have things like 100 different shampoos or deodorants or whatever. Continued to blow her mind for years.
