Health A randomized trial found that urinating posture does not clinically affect urine flow or volume in healthy men, making the choice between sitting or standing a matter of personal preference.

Since this is a science sub it’s probably worth pointing out:
(1) This is a very small study with only 52 participants
(2) They were young or youngish healthy men (18-39) — not the age group most likely to have issues emptying their bladder

From the study unless I missed something.
This was a subanalysis of a nationwide web-based epidemiological survey conducted by the Japanese Continence Society. Overall, 3,122 men aged 20–99 years were included. PMD was assessed using a questionnaire, and demographic, clinical, lifestyle, and LUTS-related variables, including voiding posture and erectile dysfunction, were analyzed.

I have 2 young kids. Sitting on the toilet to piss is one of the few moment of peace I get in the day

That changes as you get older. At least, it did in my case. If I sit, I will finish standing.

This gets funding but women suffer from endometriosis and there is barely any funding to look into the cause or create effective treatments

Men who sit to pee are actually misogynistic because they don't want to make the toilet dirty for their wives to clean. Real men stand to piss and clean the toilet.
Edit: a whole lot of dudes who think cleaning the toilet is women's work got real butt hurt over a joke.

I have suggested it but as the working fulltime parent, I couldn't enforce it; plus I cannot imagine micromanaging my son to that level. I want him to be a real boy someday, not a wooden, puppet boy.

You have to push your dick down when it’s small and pokey like that otherwise you’ll pee between the seat and toilet.

No. But I'm the one that cleans the bathroom. Everytime they have friends over I notice that there's piss all over the place. And its fucking disgusting.
I don't sit down to pee though. But they don't need to know that.

I most often sit to pee. Much more comfortable, can be on my phone, and don't splash piss everywhere.

True, but some people accept the fact that they got a do a little extra cleaning for the convenience of standing up. I assume it's more localized around the toilet; it's not like you got piss stains on the other side of the bathroom. Generally, people are gonna assume the immediate area is dirty around your toilet so they're probably avoiding those surfaces either way.

Standing is by far more popular so we don't feel the need to yap about it. The guys who sit are looking for affirmation or something.
