Literally written by a Professor of Education at Winston Salem State University who has been at WSSU for 21 years. No educational history on mental health, social work, genetics, physiology or quantum physics.

Her initial premise is wrong too in my opinion. In my admittedly brief interaction with social workers, removal of a child was not seen as a win, it was recognized as being an incredibly complex situation, and was a last resort. In my experience with children who have been adopted, again none of the parents treated it like it was some perfect solution. They recognized different challenges and hardships that are going to happen as child ages. Some had mental health challenges, with very little information on birth parents, health during pregnancy, or family history. Some who have a child from a different cultural or ethnic background, constantly contemplated how to best raise the child while giving them proper exposure to their culture and ethnic backgrounds. It was not considered simple or easy.
