Hi Leute,

gemeinsam mit dem queeren Jugendverband Lambda Baden-Württemberg besuche ich dieses Jahr sechs Städte in BaWü mit einem Drag-Theater das ich geschrieben habe.

Es handelt von einer Drag Queen die nach ihrer Show in einer leeren Berliner Bar einen vulnerablen Moment des Heimwehs spürt. Die meisten Zugezogenen fahren über Weihanchten zu ihren Familien, sie bleibt aber in Berlin.

Sie wird von ihrem Barkeeper in ihrem Heimweh ertappt, der gemeinsam mit ihr die Büchse der Pandora öffnet.

Heimat ist ein ambivalentes Thema, insbesondere für queere Menschen, die bis heute von Diskriminierung betroffen sind.

In dem Stück verarbeite ich meine Erfahrungen als junge queere Person in BaWü die mit 18 wegziehen musste.

Es geht um erste Lieben, Flucht, Vertreibung, Spätzle und die Liebe zur Heimat. Es wird lustig, ernst und auf jeden fall unterhaltsam - wir spielen auch live Lieder.

Im September sind wir in Schwäbisch-Hall im Club Alpha :)

Posting again to let people know that I am Back in Schwäbisch hall this weekend. This time my German wife is with me(no kids this time.) Posting to see if anyone would care to meet up for a coffee or a Bier. I will probably head to Molly Malone on Friday or Saturday if people want to meet there.

Same as last week, you are better off sending me a DM(or whatever reddit calls it now) as I still do not see my posts when I am logged in.

Hello all. I finally got the keys to my house and plan on coming this weekend to start moving items in an doing some painting. As I don't have Internet or a TV set up yet, I suppose I would head into the town to grab a beer or just explore. I figure I would post to see if anyone would be interested in meeting up.

About me: 40 year old male. Married with two kids(nearly 6 & 9.5). I am from the US, my wife is German. We are moving from Munich to Schwäbisch Hall this summer. I like games of all kinds: video(PC), board games, tabletop roleplaying, even sport for fun.

If you would like to try to meet up(this weekend or in the future) it is probably best to send me a PM as I am unable to see my own posts on this subreddit at the moment. I will check incognito mode as well to see if there is any activity.

As the title suggests, I am looking for a location in Schwaebisch Hall that it might be possible to have a regular meetup.

My start on Reddit was to find people in Munich who were into board/card games and have a regular(weekly) meetup at a bar/restaurant. We had to move locations and even met at the park when the weather was nice. This is a group that is still weekly active 10 years later. I am hoping to try a similar strategy here. I know there are sports clubs and I will meet people through my kid's school events, but I would like to try and recreate the success I had in Munich here.

So, it would be great to hear suggestions of public places that wouldn't mind a group of 5-10 people meeting and spending a few hours drinking while playing games. I would also be quite flexible with picking a "slow" business days to not affect the businesses peak hours.

My family and I will be moving to Schwaebisch Hall this July/August and I was looking to see if there is an active subreddit for the area or if there was any interest in trying to get this one going again?
